Hello, I'm new here! My PC has a long name, I've nicknamed her Noa or Noah.


Have you roleplayed before? If so, where? If you have, how long have you been roleplaying for? Umm Yes. For five years I was the lovable Symenestra of Wind Reach, Drusilla on Mizahar.
● Do you have any nicknames you go by? Is there a name you prefer people to call you? My name is Jamie, if that helps.
● What are some of your most favorite characters you've made? They can be from MMORPGs, Video Games, etc. Drusilla, Minosayaa, and Piper.
● Is there anything you're excited about when it comes to the Standing Trials RP? Anything that you're concerned with? I know a few other past miz people are here. Concerns... Not to feel the need to up and leave the site and abandon Noah.
● Do you consider yourself skilled in something (Art for example), if so, what is it? Do you have a favorite hobby besides RPing? I'm very creative! I sew, model clay, draw, play the bass clarinet and cello. I like to listen to music and kick around a soccer ball.
● What is something unique about you? I enjoy taking 'scary' races and make a socially outcasted PC who tries to blend in with human races, like Dru and now Noah. I also have pet hermit crabs who keep me awake at night...

Thanks for sharing some unique facts and skills! The fact that you like taking scary races and introducing them to human society sounds like a lot of fun, though could definitely be a bit stressful for the character itself, haha. Have you thought about which city you're planning to start in?

& I certainly hope you won't feel the need to up and leave the site. ST has an awesome community of kind people and great writers, so I hope you'll find a home here. Welcome to the site! I'm interested in seeing what sort of character you wind up playing here since staff have done a pretty awesome job of explaining why most of our races are the way they are, and I don't think there's really any group that sees themselves as evil. Lots that seem that way to other folks though!

Re your concern, I reckon that's one you can pretty well lay to rest. I've seen all of one person who legitimately tried to create a negative dramatic event, and staff just choose not to engage after trying to defuse the situation in a respectful manner. All involved are still here writing happily. That versus where we were and living with the knowledge that you could be doing your darnedest to get along and still get the boot.. Its a pretty good new home we've found I'd say!

I vaguely remember having a hermit crab named Herman as a class pet in Kindergarten.. There was a song about him but I don't remember it anymore xD

I usually also enjoy playing scary races and social outcasts. This time I decided on a totally different character concept though.

I’m interested in how you will write your PC. As far as I am concerned the Avriel are one of the most fascinating races in Idalos.

I recognize the name Drusilla, but sadly, I didn't ever thread with you.

But I expect I better check in if you're going to play an avriel.

Things are already getting very dicey in Athart.
With the Raskithecal invading the Hotlands, the alliance between Nashaki and Athart has been called in and left Athart with few avriel to maintain their oppressive rule over the "sub-races" - you know, humans and other scum.
So there is a level of opportunistic resentment bringing things close to general rebellion.
