Syvenien, unlike her more ostentatious older brother, is more than happy to blend in to a crowd rather than stand out in one. Freckle-faced and thick lipped with a flat, up-turned nosed and almond-eyed, she can pass a 'plain' when she does not go out of her way to adorn herself with cosmetics or the simple golden Embla she is known for and she is content with this fact. Her dark hair is often kept twisted or pinned up in some low, practical fashion so as to keep the points of her ears hidden, and she rarely wears the lank tresses loose. However, when she does, it reached the base of her pale and freckled back.

ATTUNEMENT

Witchbrand Only visible if one looks closely into Syvenien's ever-changing eyes, the pupil and sclera are divided by a myriad of proportionate lines, almost as though the eyes were deconstructed and places back together. These ‘Puzzle Eyes’ are the only way to identify her as an Attuner without magic or her own admission.

SPIRITMELD

A specific power granted to those accepted into the ranks of the Aesir of Melrath, Spiritmeld affords the Aesir the ability to to mentally sense the emotions of spirits when near any Anak and even an Induk. This is a form of empathy allowing them to discern the emotions of nearby spirits to try and deduce if they have been offended in any way. This ability is passive and is always active however it is possible via meditation near the spirit that the Aesir can begin to discern why they are feeling those emotions. (It can take anywhere from ten bits to a full break of meditation to deduce what sort of reasoning is behind a spirit’s emotions. The more powerful the spirit, the longer this process takes)

Additionally it is possible to use this ability to lead the Aesir toward nearby Spirits by feeling for their intense emotions. This ability is not exact and will only indicate a general direction. One must be within a mile of the spirit in question in order to sense their emotions. The further away, the weaker the emotional signal shall be.

Syvenien received this shortly after her thirteenth birthtrial. It is an odd trinket and one her family gained during a particularly lucky smuggling endeavour, consisting of the hollow tooth of an adult male Zelroux on a long gold chain. The top and bottom of the tooth hold stoppers so that the tooth can act as a vial, the top stopper topped with a small melanite (Tier 6 gemstone) cabochon

House Gofrith Signet Amulet

The amulet is a large gold disc stamped with the gull emblem of House Gofrith. It hangs on a medium length chain and has been in Syvenien's possession since she moved away from her family's home to her current residence in Raelia (Nobility Pack Starter Item)

HOUSING

Syvenien has made a home for herself within the Melrathi capital of Raelia, settling into a blue stone terrace along the inner edge of the Vaettir Hold on the border of the Alfar Hold. It is a modest and narrow two-story home done in the traditional gothic style yet Syvenien took a fancy to it due to its aromatic nature as it is ringed by honeysuckle bushes and sweat peas.

The front entrance opens onto a large, open ground floor that houses the kitchen, dining and sitting area. The furnishings are simple and the style is neat and orderly with motifs depicting various spirits carved into the dining table top, mantle and exposed wooden beams, the latter two emphasised by faded paint. The front-facing wall has two narrow windows and candles offer more light. The sitting area rests to the left; a set of chairs are angled before the fire and a wooden bench sits beneath the window, complete with a simple cushion and half-read book, while a simple, faded rug traverses the space between the two. To the right of the room is the dining and kitchen, with the stove and necessary cooking surfaces set to the back of the room and the table and four dining chairs sitting near the other window. A rough bunch of hand-picked honeysuckle or sweat peas often sit in a cup at its centre.

A narrow stairwell sits to the back left of the lower floor and leads up to the larger second story, the landing leading out to an equally narrow hallway that bisects the width of the home. The first average-sized room to the left is a spare bedroom, left largely untouched and immaculate, with another average-sized room to the right. This room is equally neat and organised and used as a study, bookcases filling one wall, a desk and chair another, while the front wall is all narrow windows. The next average-sized room to the right serves as Syvenien's bedroom and is barely distinguishable from the other bedroom, the only difference being a simple chest with a carved surface meant to depict Vynmur, the River Induk, sitting at the foot of her bed and a plain dresser sitting against an adjacent wall. Like the study, narrow windows line the front-facing wall, filling the room with natural light. The final room is small and sits to the left and serves as a wash room, complete with privy, basin and narrow wooden tub.
