Other Information: As a mother, Alda is caring and calm in most situations. She never stopped being Sen'Nuk's rock and always was there for her daughter when she was needed. Aside from supporting her daughter, she helps provide for her family by making small amounts of baskets and sharing them with neighbors and friends. Augustus Information

Other Information: Augustus Vriman is the oldest adopted son of Mai'akata and Halla Vriman. He was adopted as a child and he loves his mothers dearly. He was born in Rynmere, originally from Warrick. His parents died in a bandit attack when he was seven. He was adopted at the age of ten, after his younger adopted brother, Kyle, was. So while he may be older, he's been with them for a shorter time. Still, Augustus loves Desnind and his new family. He helps out in the shop often, being a charming young man with good people skills. However, his real love is hunting in the forest. He's pretty skillful with a bow, and is always improving. Don't be surprised to see him jog into the shop with a slayed Icraphern thrown over a shoulder..

Awo Information

Other Information: Awo'san is a reliable provider of meat for the Sev'ryn of Desnind, he may not be the absolute best hunter, but he is a more than talented tracker and has the patience and persistence to see to it that nearly every hunt is a successful one. Because of his patience, he is one of the hunters a fledgling hunter may be assigned to. He is not one given to idle conversation, when he speaks there is almost always a purpose. He also does not believe in coddling. Anyone in his charge will be kept safe from grievous harm, but he will let them experience the repercussions of their actions if it is safe to do so.

He is happily married to Kan'chiej, who he spent almost five Arc quietly courting, bringing her the best hides from his hunts. Still unknown to him, eventually his mother Istin'idur stepped in and had some discrete words with Kan'chiej explaining just what her son was trying to do. Kan'chiej invited him the next day to share a meal in her tent, and the rest as they say, is history. Their pairing has resulted in one daughter (a PC).

Bo Information

Details: Bo'kuno, or known affectionately as Bo by many of the children who come to read, is an older man with wrinkles around his eyes and mouth. Protective over the knowledge he has been entrusted to protect, this Sev'ryn is a kind man, but has no time for impulsive fools who threaten society's intelligence. He does his best to educate the youth, often times being convinced by younger patrons into a story time, where he will sit and share a fable. These stories hold bits of truth to them, and almost always have a moral lesson.

Duarne Information

Other Information: Duarne had been a classic sailor, traveling the open sees for fame and fortune when he ended up in Desnind. His one night stay turned into a permanent home when he met Nae'ila. At first, he just kept renting out his room so he could stay at the inn and get to know her. Eventually, they struck a deal where he was allowed to stay free of charge as long as he cooked and bounced out drunken ruffians. This deal went on for an arc or two before he finally plucked up the courage to ask her to be his. Nae'ila happily accepted. It was a happy union for all to celebrate. Of course, Duarne was forbidden to cook for the occasion. Although some of his meals - especially ones fish oriented - are good, a lot of them are heavily salted and seasoned. It takes a special tongue to truly appreciate his cooking.

Halla Information

Other Information: Halla Vriman is not a native of Desnind, but she has come to love the place because she loves a woman who grew up there. Halla is a quiet woman; not timid, just private. She grew up in the snowy mountains of Viden, and attended the university there to learn some linguistics. She came to Desnind hoping to learn Xanthea - and instead found love. Marrying Ma'aikata Kikọsilẹ-Vriman, the two opened a trader's hub together and adopted two sons. Halla has found peace in her life, and faith in Moseke, making regular trips to temple for worship. The seven foot, seven inch tall woman can be intimidating, but if you respect her, she'll respect you.

Istinidur Information

Other Information: Istin'idur was once one of the better known herbalists in Desnind, knowing every plant the area had to offer. As she aged, she began to lose her eyesight, and is now very nearly blind, seeing only light and dark and sometimes blurs. Always an independent woman, she took this rather hard, but is finding ways to work against it, though she can still be snappish at times.

She can still identify some plants by touch, smell or taste, but has largely set it aside, leaving such things to the younger generation and instead focusing on teaching the old stories . She has one son, Awo'san, still living in Desnind with his family. although all Sev'ryn would make sure an Elder was provided for and looked after, Awo'san and his family take special care to make sure Istin'idur is comfortable.

Although prickly, Istin'idur will speak with any who come to her, be it for stories of the past, or for help working out a mystery plant and its uses.

Other Information: Unless given reason to think someone is a threat to Desnind, Kah'kilan is a fairly friendly man, though dedicated to his task of guarding the Itọju. While not hostile by any means, he is more likely to be stand-offish to non Sev'ryn, polite and answering questions, but clearly keen to get back to his task. It is not uncommon to see one or more of his large and ever-growing brood of children playing in the general vicinity of this fairly solidly built, alert man. He is utterly dedicated to his Dabi Uaya Mo'ana.

Kanchiej Information

Other Information: Kan'chiej is the woman you hope you have as a neighbor. She will make time to listen when a shoulder is needed, will mind children when parents are feeling overworked, and has given your stew pot a stir when you forgot it over the fire to keep it from burning. All without coming across as a busy-body.

Most of the time, when she's not needed for anything else, she can be found working hides. Hides from her are often desired by leather-workers and tailors because they tend to be of consistently good quality, soft and supple, or tough and resilient depending on the type of hide and what its going to be used for. She has some skill as a leather-worker herself, but not enough to rival those who do it daily, just enough to keep her husband Awo'san's clothes patched from his hunting trips. She has one daughter (a PC) who has recently moved out, leaving her more time to focus on the other inhabitants of Desnind.

Other Information: As a father, Kata'Uhk wasn't really sure what to do at first. What could a man do for his daughter. But as Sen became older, she found a love for the for the bow just as he had. They would go together on hunting trips, laugh together, and just have fun. He would teach her this and that and she would listen adeptly, watch her father, learn things about his form and move forward from there. As one of the villages hunters, he doesn't always get a kill but he's always worked hard to make sure that there's enough food on the table for them all. He was the one that wanted Sen to stay so she could save up for her journey to go find her familiar.

Kyle Information

Other Information: Kyle is a born again Lothar. His past life - Kyvalkar - had died in Desnind fighting a Aidọgba Eairo, trying to make it into a mount. Mai'akata and Halla Vriman, newly married, found his newborn form in the remains of his slain former self and carried him to safety. It didn't take much for them to want to adopt him, and he's been with them ever since. Shortly after, Kyle was given a brother in the form of Augustus. They're a pretty happy family. Kyle is the go to guy on appraisal in the shop. He has a better eye for value than either of his adopted mothers, so when a debate over an item's value gets too heated, Kyle is usually the tie breaker. He also is fond of gambling, though he isn't terribly good, but he loves to play games of dice with people who come into the shop. When he isn't in the shop, he's usually chopping wood out back, or practicing his axe work in general. Despite his past self having died this way, Kyle's goal in life is to tame an Aidọgba Eairo and make it his mount.

Other Information: This man has been marked with the shame of committing sexual assault and running from the law. Sen'Nuk was his victim original victim, and his is suspected to have committed sexual crimes against other women. If this man is ever found in Desnind again, he is to be put on trial immediately. He will do anything to get what he want's, even if that means to pretend to have feelings for someone. He can be patient to a point, but ultimately takes what he wants from whomever he wants. He is a viper in disguise. There has been no real lead to his location since the incident a few arcs ago.

Livia Information

Other Information: Livia Shenandoah is a native to Desnind, though she doesn't look all that similar to many other Sev'ryn as she has lighter skin and bright eyes. She currently is a gardener who resides just outside the city. Every so often she'll come into the city to sell what she's grown, or buy supplies. Her only living daughter, Teryani Shenandoah, resides in Viden but may come to Desnind in the following seasons.

Maia Information

Other Information: "Dream Ever." That's what Ma'aikata's full name means, and it very much fits her personality. An impressionable woman, she was born and raised in Desnind. She noticed the fact that many of the people made something or acquired something that they sold regularly to make money. With a desire to have a place where people could meet to do this, Maia - as she's often called - saved up her money until she could open this shop. She ended up marrying a woman named Halla, and the two run the shop together with their two adopted sons.

Moana Information

Other Information: Moa'ana is a big woman, with a big personality and a big heart. Often pregnant, usually dragging one or more of her younger children around with her, she always has words to spare for Sev'ryn and visitors alike. It's not unusual for her to invite someone over to share a meal. If they accept, they would find the company good and lively, though they'd have to tolerate her brood of children and her doting Dabi Uaya Kah'kilan.

Naeila Information

Other Information: Nae'ila has always had a calling to take care of those around her. She has been drawn toward family and is extremely social. Naturally, running an inn seemed an appropriate calling to her. Nae'ila inevitably took over from the former innkeeper, who retired to live out the rest of her days in one of the rooms. Nae'ila loved to chat up the outsiders that came in for the night, listening to their stories of the outside world. Her favorite were tales of heroic deeds and sea monsters. The sea spirits often called to her, and it was along the beach that she found her matriarchal familiar. To go along with her ocean loving ways, it was no surprise when she fell in love with a Biqaj. Duarne only made her life better, and she was happy to have him run the inn with her.

Nautu is male but with his elegant dresses and flawless make up he easily mistaken for a beautiful female. This doesn’t bother him in the slightest and actually thrives from the attention it brings.
Nautu can ether be seen tirelessly working on his next creation or chatting with as many people as he can. Despite only being interested female tunawa, he has a terrible habit of flirting with nearly anyone.

Nuvasi Information

Details:Nu'vasi's story is quite interesting and tragic, as she did not grow up in the city of Desnind like most of her brethern. Her and her parents were dedicated followers of Aiséirism, and spent much of their life travelling between their home and Athart, tracking Avriel slavers and freeing their captives in the night. They did this in secret - using their extensive knowledge of fieldcraft to lead these people through the thick wilderness and escape their kidnappers. During this time, Nu'vasi learned the common tongue in order to communicate with the scared slaves, telling them stories of Moseke to soothe them.

One night, however, they did not make a clean escape. Due to the peaceful teachings of Aiséirism, when the Avriel slavers eventually tracked them, her parents were unable to defend themselves. They died that night and the slaves were recaptured. Barely escaping, Nu'vasi returned home and has stopped such fervent worship. She still holds onto her beliefs, and is quick to share them, but finds her happiness providing for the city and its residents just as well.

Pẹkï Information

Other Information: Pẹkï grew up in the Makubwa Lori, and as a result, she quickly learned that she should know how to take care of herself. As a child, this Sev'ryn girl watched her older brother be attacked by a Dubäẹbọ after he had accidentally hit one of its young with a rock he'd thrown. Peki's brother was badly mauled, and left with permanent scars. He was lucky to survive. Because of this, Peki became determined to learn self defense at even her young age. She learned Judo, a form of martial arts that is based on being able to take down your opponent no matter your size. So a small girl like Peki could take down a full grown man. Now, she's quite the expert of it and often offers to teach others. Anyone who wishes to learn is free to approach her for lessons.

Phyt Information

Other Information: Phyt was born in Nashaki, the hub for the Qi'ora. As he grew up, he found a love for wines and wine-making. The vitners in Nashaki provided him with the basics before he set out to other cities - Andaris City, Rharne, Ivorian, and Athart. Each city had different wines and different methods, but what drew Phyt the most was the different flavors that each city brought to the table. With this passion for flavor, he headed to the exotic southern region and set-up shop in the city of Desnind. It felt most like home to him, as he had always felt a pull to his mother Immortal. Qi'ora in Nashaki often questioned his beliefs in their runaway mother, but this only made the pull south stronger.

His travels have created a fine wine that is only found fresh in the Southern Region. Exportation of the Holpxay wine is common to other cities, as it is highly demanded by wine enthusiasts and vitners. He currently runs the Kẹjí Kisa by himself, so making wine on a massive scale is not possible. Phyt tends to prefer it this way as each bottle is hand-crafted by native Sev'ryn and the wine is even better when it is harder to get.

Other Information: Qan'Dun is a very patient man that is aware of talent. He took Sen'Nuk under his wing because he saw something in her that he felt needed refinement. Over the years, Qan'Dun has had many pupils. He has never minded the company. Instead, he appears quite enamored with any apprentice beneath him. Qan'Dun is a very quiet man altogether, but incredibly understanding. His current apprentice, Sen'Nuk, has his full attention. He will occasionally work with other students on the side, but does not intend to hire any additional help within the shop at this time. Qan'Dun works closely with Kan'chiej, as she is significantly better at concocting the chemicals needed for making a hide into supple leather.

Sieira Information

Other Information: Sie'i'ra has lived in Desnind all of her life and she is a deeply spiritual and religious individual. That manifests in a true love of life and determination to live every bit (minute) as a gift. She loves music and dance and she is never happier than when she is dancing or playing the drums. It is her unique form of meditation to do this and, whilst she is more than capable of the sort of formal dances which one might see in other places, when Sie'i'ra teaches she teaches people to shed their inhibitions, to dance as though no one is looking and to do so with bare feet and full heart.

She is a fun loving woman who loves her job. She teaches privately, but also offers community classes now and then when her schedule allows it. Her face is a mirror to her nature and she always has a smile on her face. Unlike many, she is truly able to see the worth of each individual and she maintains a positive attitude even in adversity. With two young children of her own, she is a busy woman but she adores children and animals just as much as she loves spending time with the wisdom of the elders.

Other Information: Tey'ga is considered to be one of the older and wiser Sevir in the city. Although he was directly a part of Lisirra's attack on their race, it is believed that his spirit was around at that time. After multiple rebirths, he and his familiar became very good at finding and manipulating queens to create domesticated colonies for consumption. Tey'ga prefers the company of his insects in his small home on the outskirts of the city proper.
