So, I've seen that a 'spy' is a profession among the professions in the KB, so I was wondering:
It says you would make 7gn, but would that be per a 'gig' or would that be seasonally, if you keep actively completing 'gigs'?
It says 'Underworld' so does that mean I would get paid by some gang, or the city I'm residing in?
Or does it depend for whom I'm actually doing the 'gig'?
And if it's the city that pays me, would it be the city I'm living in, or the city that I'm spying for?
If it's the city I'm living in, what if I'm a Traveler or a Wilderness survivor?
Does the hardness of spy jobs increase as my skill does, or is just the same and I have to push on through while I'm a newbie and it's EzPz when I get to the Master level?
That would be it for now.... Thanks for answering in advance
Spy as a profession
Can it make money, or is my father going to be right about this too?

Good questions. I think you might want to work closely with the prophet who owns the city you're spying for (who would pay you unless you work for a secret organisation), and the prophet of the city you're spying on. You don't have to think so large though, perhaps your city hired you to spy on a particular group. For example, in Rynmere the King, or rather The Iron Hand, might need someone with a certain skillset to spy on a faction like The Seers, or VII.
You would be paid 7gn a trail [day] as long as you meet the right skill requirements which is 26+, anything under that in professions and you only get 1gn a trial. If you're low on skills you might want to start with basic mission, yes, and as your character grows in confidence and ability he might get more and more daring. You have many options and the prophets are more than happy to work with you and offer guidance.

Spy as a profession
what Kingdom said x2
I think your 'employer' would be assumed to be the government currently in power, unless you specifically wanted to be an insurrectionist
I only mention it because I think it should be considered as far as wages go. If you are in the employ of the gov., your wages should be more guaranteed. Your cover story would probably be more secure and in-depth as well.
It may not ever become an issue, but then again, it could be fun if it did...

Spy as a profession
Thanks for the answer, just one more thing:
Can I as a spy take jobs that aren't like a career, but one-time things that I get paid for when the job is done, if a, let's say, noble wants a piece of information and he pays me X to get it?
Thanks in advance

Speaking only for myself, but with confidence that other mods would feel the same, I say AbsolutelyI
BUT...
These payments would need to be agreed on before anything in the thread determines the amount of pay.
We mods are a stingy lot and will want to curb your greed in favor of our own.
