Re: Major Fracture - Broken Forest
Idalos Entrance: Floating roughly 40 meters over the Crags between the east wall and Maiden's Refuge.
Date Opened: Sometime prior to the Oath
Foyer: The foyer of this fracture does not reach the ground, but rather extends in 30 meters in a sphere around the entrance. Any rain, or other non-living liquids, that pass into the foyer turn into an alcohol with the flavor of the original liquid, often akin to schnapps, at 50% alcohol. Any being, animal or person, that isn't plant based that passes into this sphere of influence also becomes drunk, although depending on Resistance, this can take a few bits to kick in fully.
Entrance: The entrance itself is small, roughly 2 meters across and 2 meters high. It is nearly impossible to discern from the outside except on well lit nights, when it shines deep, dark midnight blue.
Vein: The main portion of the fracture is a large forest. The immediate area around the inside of the entrance is a dark forest, made up of a wide variety of trees in many different colors and shapes. Some trunks were twisted into knots, others were missing sections, only for the next section to be growing in spite of the gap. Some trees sang, others muttered, some move. The forest only extends forward from the entrance. Off to the either side, was nothing but shining light. Pure nothingness. There was nothing in the distance to see, nothing to touch. The mosslike stone underfoot simply stopped, and nothing began. There is only the forest forward, and the Yari lands on the other side of the entrance backwards.
The forest stretches roughly two miles long, but only 200 meters wide. Within it are the usual lakes, streams, etc that one might find, as well as a wide variety of lesser Emean flora and fauna to discover.
Heart: Located at the opposite end of the forest from the Entrance, the Heart leads into the Fairy Kingdom fracture.
Wells Information: All standard wells available to a Major Fracture.
Well Refinement (within the Vein only): This effect allows the well to be touched to any stone, regardless of size, and turn it into a seed of a plant native to the area the rock is in. This well touched seed will grow rapidly into the plant, reaching full size, scaling upward with the size of the rock used, in 10 trials.
Permission: Entrance to this fracture is self moderated. However, rules on specific wells still applies.

Re: Major Fracture - Broken Forest
Name: The Doorman
Race: Tunawa (sort of)
DoB: Unknown
Title: The Doorman of the Broken Forest
Moderation Type: Self Mod
Able/Willing to Mentor?: Yes* only to those who have proven to be friends of the forest and/or Tunawa
Skills able/willing to Mentor in: Agriculture (Master), Gardening (Master), Brewing (Expert), Field Craft (Expert), Medicine (Expert) (Plant based healing only), Poisons (Expert), Vinting (Expert), Fairy History and Culture
Other Information: The Doorman is the sole protector of the Broken Forest. He walks through it, protecting it as best he can from Idalos and Emean Beings as best he can. He lives a very lonely, solitary existence, talking to the plants and animals that live within that fracture. He is often distrusting of anyone that he first meets unless they are a Tunawa.
The Doorman was among the first Tunawa to have been created. He was adopted by the Fairies in the Fairy Kingdom fracture, and was raised there. His life before the fairies is a complete mystery. While he loved exploring the forests and lands of the Fairy Kingdom, it didn't take him too long to have learned them all. But there was something inside him that yearned for more. A calling from somewhere else. So one day, he followed it.
The Tunawa left the Fairy Kingdom, finding his way into the Broken Forest. It was nearly lost back then, devastated and harvested by unknown Emean Beings. The Doorman immediately poured his heart and soul into the place. He spoke with the hurting and grieving trees, he taught them how to best use their unique abilities. And soon, the Doorman and the forest began to defend one another from the demons that invaded them.
Over the many years, the forest flourished, and as it grew, so did the Doorman. The trees grew stronger and more powerful, and so did he. He now stands seven feet tall. The change was so gradual, he never really noticed his height increase. And he was alone in his fracture for so long, he forgot that he even was a Tunawa, never having met another of his kind. Fairies do visit from time to time, but he wishes they would come by more often.
If his trust can be earned, he will teach anything within his ability to a person. He is very kind and protective of those he considers friends. He is extremely noncombative, often using the forest itself if needed to defeat threats. He can speak to trees and they will often eat and attack those who threaten to hurt him, or them.

Re: Major Fracture - Broken Forest
I love both the fracture and the Doorman very much.
Question is there anymore on the doormans backstory? like how he went from a tunawa to what he currently is.
Also how tall is he?

Re: Major Fracture - Broken Forest
A couple of things real quick otherwise everything looks really good.
What happens should someone walk into the pure light on the sides of the forest?
When a person or animal makes it past the foyer would they still be drunk or would it change into a hang over?
Lastly is more of a thing I've found I do when I write myself so I tend to watch for it closely. The Doorman looks great, I didn't have any questions; but do be careful of repeating phrases in the same sentence. I've found it can throw off readers and graders. { He walks through it, protecting it as best he can from Idalos and Emean Beings as best he can }
