Hello, Standing Trials. So, here I am. I was invited some time ago by a few different old rp buddies but put it off for a number of reasons (one of them being sheer laziness and then lack of inspiration). Sorry, guys. >.> But, I'm here now, and I'm excited to be here. Chat has already been very welcoming and I like some of the characters I see. Plus, if I'm being honest... in all my role playing experiences, I can't remember playing a noble. It will be fun. Now, without further ado, let me fill out the fun little "get to know me" survey.

Have you roleplayed before? If so, where? If you have, how long have you been roleplaying for?

• I have! I've been role playing play by post fashion since.. December 2006. Started tabletop just last year, but also really dig it. As for where? That's hard to narrow down. I started pbp rp on a avatar site called GaiaOnline, and stuck to a few of those for a good chunk of time. Then I progressed to sites dedicated solely to rp and writing, and I've seen so many sides of the internet, it's crazy.

Do you have any nicknames you go by? Is there a name you prefer people to call you?

• I have gone by sooo many monikers over the years. Call me Andras, Andy (given already in chat - right on), or by my real name, Maria.

● What are some of your most favorite characters you've made? They can be from MMORPGs, Video Games, etc.

• Tough question! I've got love for all my characters, but I have a few that stand out. Deshira, Davina, Mynx, represent!

● Is there anything you're excited about when it comes to the Standing Trials RP? Anything that you're concerned with?

• I already know of 3 great writing partners I've worked with in the past that are here, and I love that characters are dymanic and can improve skills and things. Knowing that I might get a chance to write with some great old and new faces, as well as watch András grow really excites me.

● Do you consider yourself skilled in something (Art for example), if so, what is it? Do you have a favorite hobby besides RPing?

• I think I'm actually pretty good at art. I also pick up languages fairly quickly and like to learn them. Travel is my favorite hobby, as well as eating. I'm serious. I love to try new foods, go to new restaurants, or just grab a bite with some friends. Other than that? Reading, writing... I can lucid dream, can read tarot (still learning), can knit, and I have started cooking.

● What is something unique about you?

• Well... I can quote the morning routine monologue of American Psycho, have an obsession with The Office, Rick and Morty, and love to binge watch Netflix. Not super unique but...it is what it is. Oh! I've been to a maid cafe in Japan and danced for a girl named Asuna. Does that count?

I'm very thrilled to hear that you already have old friends here to roleplay with. Thank you for taking an interest with us and starting a character! I speak for the entire staff when I say we're very excited to have you here.

There is a lot of information on the forum and in the Knowledge Base. We don't expect anyone to get it right off the bat so please don't hesitate to let us know if you're struggling with something or if you have questions. There is, for the most part, always a staff member on site to help with any questions or concerns players have.

I also love binge watching netflix! I've gotten to the point where I need some kind of background noise, like a show, to focus on something. It's really very weird but it works for my concentration! Anywho, I hope you have fun here! Happy writing!

Table top was definitely the beginning for me. And I still have campaigns in Pathfinder, Palladium and Shadowrun going.
I GM'ed a DnD WoW campaign for two years and engineered several partial party wipes, but never quite got the TPK we GMs so yearn for.
I got the Game of Thrones rp set for Christmas, and find it to be very similar to Shadowrun. But I have yet to run it.

But I have to say it....groan....not another noble.....lol

With each new addition, the stalwart ramparts of Rynmere become ever softer and more pampered and powdered. Soon they will fall in a fluffy cascade of wigs and silken pleats.

And if not, I shall send a flight of avriel to bombard the place with boulders!
