Kira grows faster than most girls her age and since she learned of her heritage she has grown much, both visually and in her skills but she has kept her eyes that are still uncomfortable and cold to look into and she has light skin. Her hair has grown out more than long and it has gone from dull to a bright color onsce she gave it some sun and other things she found while exploring the markets. She now has a dark blue cloth collar around her neck that has a bronze metal rim on it and a bronze metal ring beneath it and she also has clothing covers like straps that are also dark blue that is tied down in a laced fashion in an X shape that are white. Her shoes are dark blue with white outlines on the rim and on the bottom of them with a silver ring attached to both rims and the heels are slightly high but not high heels. Her clothing is a long dark blue gown that goes up under her shoulder in the front and split in the middle with bronze braces that go from her waist, turns from a corner piece on her chest, and to her arm that goes all the way around her back to the other side and does the same pattern.

It is quite flexible so it doesn’t limit mobility as much as her collar but all of it is comfortable, and her old torn cloth has been replaced by a new one that goes down to the back of her waist and up to where it’s attached to the inside of the shoulder brace so that her shoulders are exposed and flexible so that while she travels she can pull it around to her front that way her mid section is covered. Her waist is wrapped in a white bandage that is reasonably tight so that her clothes aren’t loose and the lower part of her gown has a bronze color outline instead that goes with the rest which is one piece around her lower half but split in the front at the middle right over her dark blue skirt.

She has the Maezerik mark.

She has a witch brand that makes her want to eat raw meat.

Like Kira, her Spark's theme and focus is "Creation" It desires to imbue life and control into inanimate things. This means that both she and her spark find the raising of skeletons distasteful. At competency, she is still able to but it makes her experience nausea - also, her Spark's resistance means that it takes her twice as long to do so. Both Kira and her Spark would rather raise inorganic thralls; they are both more interested in sculpting and crafting material. This focus on the inanimate means that Kira's Spark occasionally reaches out to inanimate objects that are made from wood, clay or metal within a 30ft radius of her. So she could walk past a row of pots in a market and they might start rattling and moving as if trying to come to life. It lasts only a few trills but can cause her to be detected as a mage. It lowers her ability to pass as human. It would take expert medication/discipline to have any amount of control over this reaction and even then it would be something which happens now and then. On the flip-side she has an innate understanding of how Golems work and how they are constructed. So her golems are more agile than the clunky ones made by other necromancers. (Since it mentions in the lore that golems are normally clumsy things)

Personality


Kira doesn't like leaving her bubble very often. When she does, she is irritable and prone to hiding away as soon as possible. Her personality beyond that remains a mystery, as rarely speak to her, and as such can only guess at what she is like based on her actions. In time though she will learn she is a cunning predator who enjoys the hunt and a good fight, but as the last of her kind she is also incredibly lonely, and clings to others in hopes of finding someone she can be close to.

Born to a pair of magical parents, Kira was inducted into the magical lifestyle at a very young age. she was the fifth child they had raised to be initiated, but each previous child had died horribly in the process. They would not hide their magic from their final child, but they wouldn't try to initiate her out of fear. Kira was oblivious to her siblings’ fate for the majority of her life and would dedicate himself to studying in hope that she’d someday become a mage like her parents. However that day never seemed to come.

At the age of 10 Kira confronted her parents about why they wouldn’t pass on their magic to her. After many years of pushing off the subject, they finally revealed that they didn’t want to risk losing their last hope of passing on their lineage. Furious and disheartened at the same time, the boy dedicated the rest of her childhood to studies. If she wasn’t going to be taught then she might as well learn what she could. she would dabble in alchemy and ensorcelling as much as she could while her parents were away doing mage things. Kira’s parents were battlemages after all and they’d have little time or energy to supervise their child at all times.

As Kira came along in years, she’d start to sneak into her parent’s books and start to read about their well guarded secrets of magic itself. It was then that she’d realize that anything she did by pure study was pale in comparison to the wonders that magic could offer her. she wanted now more than ever before to become initiated, even to a point that she’d willingly risk her life to do so. she was going to confront her parents about this as soon as they come home, but they never did.

One week passed and Kira was still sitting alone in a cottage on the outskirts of a battle. she’d seen her parents exhausted, but never wounded. The possibility of them dying had never crossed her mind. she’d venture out and travel to where she figured the battle must have taken place. she found mostly gore and spent weaponry. Here and there she’d see a moving body, but it’d be easy to see that they weren’t her parents. she would search for days until finally she came across a cave. she’d venture inside and find her mom sitting there motionless next to her father’s who looked fine but very broken.

Stricken by horror, she’d scream which caused her mother’s head to lift. Her face’s expression was that of almost pure absentmindedness. Kira couldn’t fathom what must have happened to her mom to make her like this. She looked almost lifeless, or at least mentally damaged beyond repair. She’d hold up a hand and Kira was hesitant to take it. she reached out to grab it, but she’d not be prepared for this to be an initiation. Her mother had been turned into an undead. Through this, Kira was subjected to the necromancy initiation.

The next morning Kira would wake to even more pain. She had passed out after the initiation and her father would finally explain what had happened. He’d tell how the mother had died and how her dying wish was for him to initiate their child. Days passed before the two left the cave. They’d bury the mother underneath a tree and scavenge the battlefield for food. They were all alone now and half delusional due to the torment of the initiation and the daunting task of finding civilization.

Ore Purification
The Favored can purify ore and processed metal through a variety of means. And while all of those marked by Aeva can use every method, most tend to stick to one preferred method. Their bodies adjust to handle this processing so as to not damage themselves, this includes teeth being temporarily strengthened to bite and chew on metal, digestive systems that can pass metal without toxicity. This also allows the impurities to be passed, digested, or expelled, though often in a separate method than the metal. These adjustments happen automatically within the mark, to protect them from the process of purification that might damage another person if it were attempted. Methods include chewing up the metal and spitting out the purified product, swallowing it and regurgitating or passing it, or grinding it in their hands. There are other methods, as discovered by the curious. This metal inside the Favored's body is not protected from outside magical draws, should it be applicable.

Maerzek Skills I
Add an extra three skill points to one of the following skills: Smithing, Engineering, Teaching, Construction, Alchemy and Ensorcelling. Any skill points granted by this Mark can break the 250 point cap on skills.

Always Equipped for the Job
The Favored is able to mold and manipulate their hands to form tools, both known or unique for the situation that is needed. This is done without pain, and is a fairly quick process. This is done mentally, no need for one hand to be physically manipulated by the other or by other tools. Without being coupled with other abilities, these tools are made of flesh and bone as suited to the Favored, and the tools' appearance reflects this. Should the tool be damaged, the tool automatically reverts back to a hand, with the damage reflected therein, i.e. a screw driver breaks along the shaft, reflected as a break in multiple fingers. This can range from making a key for a lock or a hammer for building a home. The variety of tools available is wide, and is only limited by the amount of mass in the hand, as well as the inability to have inner mechanisms such as adjustable tools. It can make tools smaller than the hand’s mass, but not larger. This ability can be maintained for 1 break at Favored, 3 breaks at Adored, and 6 breaks at Exalted
