A world outside your Hwyndow

Sepia skies and grayscale rain… a moody day indeed. Hwyn looked out from his small gazebo sullenly watching the sky, he’d argued with the Armoire the day before and it was still sulking over it. Hwyn knew what he had to do to cheer the place up, he just didn’t want to do it out of sheer stubbornness. After all one thousand years of stagnation tempers the mind against boredom. However eventually the Gavebo began to leak and it became apparent that the room wasn’t willing to wait on an apology.

“Fine, fiiiine Thour’t worse than a squawking babe when thee are dismayed”

Walking into his small house and the closet therein he frowned at the drab offerings the closet had decided to give him, even the closet was gloomy today, it seemed as if Milly was also affected by the poor mood Armoire was in. Or the rain… Milly decidedly hated water.

“I can’t make them Cease this bellyaching without something Bright Milly, lest you want mine suffering to be gifted unto you as well.”

Hesitantly the interior shifted towards brighter offerings. Smiling wanly Hwyn picked through the menagerie until he arrived at a nice green Chemise. Pulling it over his head he frowned, it wasn’t the best thing in the wardrobe but it would do.

Making his way outside he strutted towards the center of the glade before coming to a stop full center before looking up at the sky and placing a hand on his hip and scowling.

“Thine whimpering is most unpleasant, Make thyself presentable and play for me music else I shant dance for you.”

With the promise of a performance the clouds finally cleared if by a fraction spotlighting him with a single ray of sun. Thus he began, dancing was not something he particularly enjoyed but it was something that Daia had done and the room seemed to have an affinity for anything that reminded it of the immortal, wherever she was. Thus as the music begant to play he began to sway slowly in time to the haunting tune the room generated, the rain a somber percussion, the wind whipping through trees the overture and the deep mystical sounds of unknown origin the room itself seemed to bellow out in the form of song created a most curious of tones. Regardless as the music flow and Hwyn moved color slowly began to return to the room and the Armoire’s tantrum subsided

Re: A world outside your Hwyndow

After dozing, pitching face first into his new-acquired journal. Kalortah went unconscious. The entire night had been spent absorbed in his own written Avrielic script, writing his songs, ideas, and rhymes into those parchment pages. He could still hear the shifting of parchment sheets, one against another, as he adjusted his head on the makeshift pillow.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He found himself floating down on a sun beam. Kalortah tried to flap his wings. Instead of hearing the flutter of feathers, muscles and bone, he heard pages turning. Casting a glance over his shoulder, he saw a book attached to his back, leather-binding facing backward. On the pages where feathers would be, he could clearly see what resembled his own Avrielic script. The words transposed and projecting over the air in glowing characters. He knew this was not right, but for whatever reason, it didn't disturb his sense of vanity.
As he drifted down on the light ray, the sound of music wafted up from below. He saw the patterns each note drew on the dreamy airwaves. They resembled a ribbon tied into a figure eight. He glided a ways to the left, alighted to their satiny airwaves. Then he surfed them with his clawed feet until the ribbon straightened out into a slide that led down to a glade, where a resplendant human being was dancing to the musical notes. Kalortah wondered lazily if the dancer could see the airwaves too.
As he reached the ground, he flapped his book-bound parchment wings a few times, then folded them shut. He hailed the human being, his chin lifted upward in haughty regard for the lesser being. Nevertheless, he sang thus, as he found himself incapable of speaking out of an oddly constructed, grammatically flawed, iambic pentameter:
"I have arrived from long away
To find dancers on bare grass.
Encroaching on dreamy morass,
Wondering whether I may?"
☠ Mood: Curious
☠ Current Thought: Do they eat children?!
Cervantez couldnt believe his eyes., meandering about the field as he clutched a stuffed animal he always saw when he slept. He's never seen anything like this place before, be it dream or a vision from when he wasnt sleeping. Honestly the young child was just awe stricken by this place. The scene given the color of the place, was still beautiful in his eyes, a rarity to unhospitible landscape of Yaralon. And so he enjoyed it, feeling the textures of the grass beneath his feet, how the sun kissed his face. It was such an odd experience for him, to see such things, and as he played in the grass, he could hear voices. Curious he followed the sounds, and then, hiding at the top of the hill he could see two figures. He wasnt sure who they were, their figures merely a blur at the time, but he could hear talking, but didnt understand what was being said. He opted to stay hidden for the moment, not knowing what could happen if he were to come out from where he was. Now he wasnt so sure this was a place he could enjoy. What could these figures be, what where they discussing? As curious as he was he didnt really wish to know. He was more so concerned with staying out of sight and not allowing them to see him. Do they eat children, like the things from the holes in the sky? These questions rattled around the little one's head.
