Mithril is a dappled grey Andalusian that Malcolm purchased from a farmer in Krome during a storm on his way back to Andaris after returning from Ne'hear. She is a well trained mount with excellent stamina, and is able to keep a moderate pace over long distances. However, she was not built for speed, and tends to tier when forced to sprint.

Mulki is the Xanthean word for death, and though Mulki may look like a ghost due to his white coat, he lives up to his name only in battle, able to charge at anything without hesitation. The gelding has a sweet nature and has been well trained as a war horse. He was purchased in the Eastern Settlement and brought back to Rynmere after the Qe'dreki war.

Kaiba is a big horse, standing just over seventeen hands at the wither. He is spirited, defiant, and skittish, with a lot of work that still needs to be done. Purchased in Ashan 717 after a fresh shipment of horses arrived in the capital from the deserts of Nashaki. Kaiba is being trained as a war horse, but has been used to pull a wagon from time to time due to his strength.

Andvari, meaning 'Careful One,' was brought in Ashan 717 along with Kaiba and Onkari. He is a rare and beautiful horse with a mane, coat, and tail of gold that shines like the sun when brushed. He has blue eyes and a soft, pink nose, and was purchased as a gift for Vaughn Krome, Malcolm's son. Known as a gentle giant, Andvari is intelligent and willing to please.

Onkari is a quater horse, a breed known to excelle in sprinting short distances, able to turn tight bend and learn quickly. Of all of Malcolm's horses, Onkari is the most wild and unpredictable. She is prone to kicking and has been known to buck, suited only to expert riders, and not to be trusted around young people or animals.
