This post was not intended to cause upset or drama - or to interfere with anyone's plans.

However, please could the rules with npcs be clarified and updated as I've fallen fowl of them without meaning to do so. Please could it also be made clear which factions are out of bounds without moderator approval, perhaps in the seasonal calendar? - along with important city events updated (ie, the Kings engagement) so that there is no confusion/ unwanted crossover etc.

Dear Elyna, as mentioned in our private conversation on Skype, it is common sense that all NPCs made for the City--- permissions are required to use them. As well as using major plot devices, like the Qe'dreki, that could affect multiple character stories, not just your own, require moderator permissions.

I'm sorry if you feel like us looking out for our players is cumbersome on you and your stories. As I told you, if you wish to use the NPCs you made freely for the city when you were a moderator, you are more than welcome to convert them to your personal NPCs for your character-- that way whatever you do with them does not majorly affect everyone else's plots unless otherwise agreed upon in the impact thread.

Along with this, you should know, as well as everyone else, that our moderation of people is for appropriate reasons. Feel free to express your concern to me or Rumour in PMs, however, please be aware that disruption of other peoples RP via drama over unsatisfactory results, especially when we have told you both publicly and privately to handle it with us, and that it is written in our TOU that drama is not allowed, you will most assuredly receive a warning.

As well, you should attempt to stop undermining staff. You were staff once, and you left because you thought we allowed our staff members and players to get bullied. What are you doing to our staff now? Please keep this in mind before posting crude information that isn't valid to that actual story at hand.

Do really all NPCs made for the City require permission to use them - or just important NPCs?

What about the prostitutes at the House of Roses for example?

If I want to use them in a thread again, do I need to PM a moderator beforehand?

Tristan, I understand where you're coming from, but I can verify that she meant city NPCs effecting major plots, such as the Qe'dreki rebellions, the RCA, etc. Such plots, which are controlled by the mods, require moderator permission to alter in any serious or dramatic way, or even in very minor ways. As such, utilizing an NPC who is the general of the Qe'dreki when the mods have stated that the Qe'dreki are hidden/lost/"gone", is taking too many liberties.

Hello lovely Ryn players!

Firstly, thank you - to those of you who have reached out to check that all is ok with my moving away from Ryn. Your words of kindness have been really lovely. Thanks so much!

In light of those messages, I thought I'd just post here and give a bit more info ~ I'm currently not able to commit to two cities and, since I'm on my own in Scalvoris I'm going to focus on there. I'll be finishing up current moderated threads in Ryn and acting as a guest mod here and there ~ plus helping out in the background as needed, too. So, those of you in moderated threads with me, don't worry all will continue as normal!

Thanks for the good wishes, I'm sorry to leave but it's better that you have active city mods and I can't do active in two places right now!

Hey there folks,

This is just a little push from me to you all. As I said in my announcement, I will be making Rumors again, as well as handling the Gazette and adding more odd jobs and Bounties to the Bounty Board. What I need from you all is this:

• Feedback for what Odd Jobs and Bounties you want to see listed.
• Ideas for articles for the Gazette. These ideas should function around IC story and information.
• Ideas for Rumors. Again, these suggestions should include IC information.

I'm going to talk with the Ryn team to see how we can encourage more participation from you all, especially with article submissions (Not that this is a bad thing! I just wanna get you guys hyped!). But first, what do you think could inspire you as a player to get involved in rumors, writing articles for the city newpaper, or preforming bounties? Maybe a higher payout? Maybe more in depth story? More adventure? Better rewards?
