Big thank you to Kingdom for writing up the Coastline! And thank you to all of our players who have been submitting NPCs and locations to the Rynmere Development thread. You never fail to impress me with your creativity! Please know that your contributions to Rynmere's lore are very much appreciated.
I'd like to echo Rumour and say that I'm really impressed by the enthusiasm (perhaps a little overwhelmed at times), but most grateful to everyone who has helped with the development of Rynmere, not just with ooc write-ups but contributions in threads too. You've all helped bring this city to life and made it a pleasure to write in. I've been working a lot this week on development, some things you can see and others not so much (Vri's Blessing, Dream Walking, K's Blessing, etc, etc), so I haven't had a lot of free time to be social and review, but I'd still love to hear about your plots and ideas even if they don't take place in Rynmere. I know a few of you are off to explore the rest of Idalos IC next season and I'm super excite for you to experience other cities our prophets have put so much love and energy into (shout out to Etzos, Ne'haer, and Rharne).
Rynmere Temples is the newest write-up (wip), and if anyone would like to get their toes wet and give development a try, feel free to take this project off my hands. It's a bit like the Coastline, describe the area and maybe come up with the odd myth while you're at it. I'd also love an NPC for each temple, a young woman maybe aspiring to become the new Empress (roles are open for PC's too).
I try not to make any promises (because I know I'm rubbish at keeping them, and you guys are way too polite to remind me every now and then when I forget things), but I'm going to try and do a few more moderated threads next season (with our big world plot). I have to apologize to Peake for letting him down with stuff we had planned in the past. Things got very busy here over the last few months and I was in survival mode trying to stay on top of things sitewide as well as run Rynmere, and thanks to my power-puff-girls that didn't go too badly, but it left me with almost zero time to be a good moderator and do what I signed up for (telling stories). So I apologize, I hope you have fun in the fire-city, and hopefully when you get back I can torture write with you then.

Plots? You want to know about plots? I'll dangle you a web, Kingdom...
At the moment I'm working on a 4-5 thread story arc for Vera to go into the Grimvale that will fan out for Vera plot-wise. She's been tasked by Y'gel to recover a rare flower found in the journal of some deceased Seeker, for use in Alchemy by an Empath seeking a solution to curb insanity from mutations - it won't work, of course ... but while she's there, her handsome guide gets nommed by spiders and she's left all alone.
While she's there, she cries herself to sleep and Vhul sniffs her out, a high-ranking member of the Coven of Ellasin, a master of Becoming. He's the kind of person to creep you out by getting very close and personal, lick your tears - the usual, really. A stand-up guy. He sees something in her, realizing she's been initiated into magic, and promptly toys with the woman by abandoning her and watching by the sidelines while she hunts for the flower - of course, she runs into danger.
He mocks her as she's struggling with a man-eating plant, but she manages to get herself loose by biting and slashing tendrils. He's impressed enough to help her ... or bored without her, kept waiting in the Grimvale like some chess piece by Ellasin due to the encroaching war ... and thus he helps her find the flower she is looking for, and initiates Vera into Abrogation, inducting her into the coven and tasking her to practice it for when they next meet.
Voluntarily, she returns to the Grimvale and meets up with Vhul after delivering the flower and chewing out her Seekers mentor. Then, she's initiated into Becoming - either at the loss of a wisdom tooth, or her left pinkie toe. Around the 28th, Ellasin tells Vhul while Vera is away that he is no longer needed in the Grimvale, leaving him free to go to Ne'haer with Vera. Upon the same boat is Alistair and another member of the Coven ... that's going to be a fun ~60+ day boat trip. So much pent-up megalomania from two bored liches will be interesting to see.
Meanwhile, Vera has a few things that she must take care of while Labrae is around, involving Rafael Warrick's abduction. I've definitely got my plate full here, and only a few weeks to accomplish my thread series if I don't put up placeholders.

I do love the grimvale lol! Sounds like you have a lot to do! I really admire people who are able to make their own fun. A lot of what we do here does have to be self-moderated and it sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun. The boat trip will be good! I'm sure one of our sea moderators will spring the odd surprise! Thank you for sharing!

Ericor's Elegance, owned by the "Wizard of Clothe" himself, has been added to Rynmere's location list! Thank you so much to Kazmir Saelaris for writing this up.
Note: Please calculate clothing prices using the Knowledge Base price list.
I just want to give a quick shoutout to: Zvezdana, Elyna, Faith, Kingdom, and Alistair for their writing in 'Negotiations Between Parties'. It is such a great read, with more than one interesting twist so far. I don't have any stakes at all in the thread itself, yet I was thrilled to read it! Great job y'all, I am really curious to see how that thread will continue.

Life is a dark comedy, only you're not in on the joke.
@Rafael so glad you've enjoyed the thread! It's been a lot of fun to write and everyone involved is super passionate. Love it.
You can consider all moderated threads (unless otherwise specified), open.
Note for all: please refrain from putting placeholders in moderated threads. You post when you have time, then when an order is established, generally you will have two to three days to reply (depending on the moderator), and if you miss your turn your PC with be written out or NPCed. If you are worried about missing out, inform the moderator of the thread that you intend to post and they will wait (within reason).

Hello all! Just dropping a note in to introduce myself as the newest addition to the staff here in Rynmere! I'm excited to be here and hope to be helping Kingdom, Rumour & Griffin out. Got a shiny new office, feel free to drop in or fling a pm my way.
