The Bounty Board

As creatures, monsters, villains and/or deadbeats gain notoriety, and accumulate moral debts to the worthy citizens of Etzos, The Tower will grant license to administer justice upon them for pay. The degree and nature of the allowable justice will be posted here along with the identities of the guilty.

1). Marlin Tagley, at the Office of the Citizen's Committee, has forwarded a report that someone is shifting jurisdiction line markers, to affect liability and ownership claims. This complicates his job tremendously. If you see anyone doing this, and have previously obtained a Temporary Justice License, you may subdue them and bring them to the Black Guard for a 1wp reward. At least one corroborating witness will be required.

2). Ministress Jillian Terris wishes to warn the populace of a heinous threat to public safety in the form of a random slasher frequenting the Citizen's Free Market. Several shoppers, as well as two booth renters, have been seriously injured and any witnesses are asked to come forward with any descriptions that can be provided. Corroboration is required to claim any reward. But if none is immediately available, it is hoped that those with such information will still come forward to do their civic duty.

3). "Old Guard" Patron Lerrik Calloso has revealed that several dangerous texts on the supernatural have come up missing from the off-limits section of the library vault. It is likely that users of criminal magics or devotees of violent Immortals are the ones behind this crime and should only be pursued by those trained in dealing with this type of threat. Some artifacts of protection may be able to be provided temporarily to those taking up this dangerous task.

4). Gritt Paxler, Grandmaster of the Smith's and Mason's Guild, Is perplexed by the disappearance of several wagons' worth of cut stone from the quarry. He is willing to hire new workers, to rebuild the wagons on-site; extra guards to escort the shipments to town; and investigators/"jurists" to bring what verdicts may be appropriate once the nature of this problem is assessed.

5). Varden Hayes, Minister of Taxes, has learned that unsanctioned silver and gold nel are being counterfeited and introduced into Etzos' economy. Information on the destabilizing economic effects of such a development can be found in pamphlets being distributed by Imp Pressions. But the Bounty is for the discovery of the perpetrators of this monetary treason and the impounding of the equipment.

6). Capt. Berrit Segrille, of the Black Guard, Wishes to reiterate that sightings of mutants from "Padfoot's Freak Show" are certainly helpful to establish their haunts for surveillance purposes, but bounties are only paid if captures are made. There is also some discrepancy in the amounts, based upon the perceived threat level. But it is still a basic standing offer of bounties paid for the capture of dangerous mutants. It should be considered that many of these mutants are victims themselves who did not choose to be mutated into their hideous forms, so a "shoot-first" policy may not be necessary. Take only what defensive posture you deem necessary.

As a more specific item on this ticket, "Padfoot" himself is now worth 10wp for capture. It is hoped that he may have some secret to reverse the mutation he inflicted upon so many poor citizens of our good city. Some with alchemical knowledge have stepped forward to suggest the possibility that his blood itself, may hold this secret, so if there is no way to capture him alive, 5wp will be paid for his corpse.

If you are interested in pursuing one or more of these tasks, check with Marlin Tagley at the Office of the Citizen's Committee to obtain a "Temporary Justice License".
