Other Information: Krin was expected to join the skyriders like his brother, Kiran did. But he had other ideas. Even as a young child, he hated being told what to do. And that hatred only grew as he got older. Envisioning the freedom to do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted to do it, he set off on his own when he was 15 to become a bandit. He was going to get rich quickly, using the fighting skills he'd learned as a child to take whatever he wanted.

It didn't quite work out that way. He earned a reputation as a bandit that earned him the attention of Faction VII. By then, he had learned the hard way what the realities of trying to make it as a solo bandit were. So when asked to join, he jumped at the chance. Now he still has someone telling him what to do, but he enjoys more freedom than he would have had he joined the skyriders, or the military.

Krin has a violent temper that most learn to avoid quickly. It takes a lot to make him lose his temper, but once he does, someone is going to get hurt. Or killed.

Since Lucien is his uncle, he works as the liaison between Faction VII, and Lucien Shiryu. As such, he is most often called on to do whatever it is that Lucien wants done. To deepen the connection, and to act as a reminder that while they are allies, Faction VII is not his to command, Krin often acts as Lucien's apprentice. In doing so, he is in a good position to keep an eye on Lucien.

Other Information: Varin's first memories are of cold, hunger, and pain. She doesn't know who her family is. Nor does she care. They abandoned her when she was very young, and she doesn't want them any more than they wanted her. She hadn't been on the streets for long when she was taken in by a man who was looking for an apprentice in his craft.

He wasn't a kind man. Nor was he offering to teach Varin out of the kindness of his heart. He worked her hard. But he did teach her the craft of poisons. And for that, she was grateful enough to use a painless, fast acting poison to kill him once he had taught her all that he could.

Varin is as cold, and ruthless as they come. She trusts no one, and anyone who trusts her is a fool. She was approached by Faction VII when she was seventeen, because they had caught wind of her skill with herbal remedies, and drugs. Varin had set up a small shop for herself, selling herbal remedies. Those who knew how to ask properly, could also find drugs, and poisons available. Her prices were higher than most, but none ever complained, and she had a very loyal customer base. She had a reputation for being among the best at what she did. Once she was hired, they discovered that she was even more skilled than she let on.

Other Information: One of the very few Knights that gained a knighthood without losing a pound, Vorko is not an average knight. In fact, nothing about him as average according to the rumors that surround him. Vorko is a quiet man, obedient under authority and humble in his words. Other than that, he is a stranger both to his fellow Knights and those that meet him. The most common rumor surrounding Vorko is that the Iron Hand shouldn't have allowed him to join due to his twisted morals, yet that is nothing more than a rumor.

Other Information: Violent and blunt, Papar doesn't quite care about the Iron Hand as much as he cares about battle. Always eager to enter into action, his needs often make him reckless, and his childish behavior often makes him fall easily into provocations. Nonetheless, Papar is still alive to this day due to his passion, driving him from assignment to assignment and victory over victory. Due to his refusal to manage his emotions, Papar will never advance in rank, and will most likely fall victim to his own rabid nature. That is, of course, if someone manages to defeat him. Friendly and energetic, Papar only cares about adrenaline.

Other Information: Born in the wilderness, Pear and his family roamed from place to place with nothing but the fabric of his tent, it wasn't until Pear witnessed the glory of Andaris in the distance that he decided the wilderness was not something he liked anymore. Escaping his parents, lost in the city, Pear's wonder was so much that he knew he'd never leave the safety of walls of stone. Having to teach himself to read and write, through constant effort he gained a knighthood, and now proudly defends his new home from anything that may try to break that security he so adores. Charming, jolly and a bit bizarre, nature and civilization mix perfectly in this man.

Other Information: Without no other wish but to have some sort of power, Macho joined the Iron Hand craving that air of respect Knights have around them. Although Macho's methods are somewhat questionable, he always knows how to adapt his methods to his superior's desires. It was perhaps this capacity to adapt what made him progress so quickly and to achieve knighthood in the end. Although his appearance is somewhat bizarre for a knight, he knows how to work his charm with everyone, despite his laugh being as annoying as it is.

Other Information: A veteran of the Iron Hand, many are surprised as to why Madd hasn't advanced in rank. In truth, his knowledge is enough to make an excellent leader, and he could've easily achieved the rank of Captain... if it wasn't for his good heart. There is nothing Madd loves more than field work, not because of the violence or the lack of stress, but because of the chance to witness in first person the joy in those he aids with his service. Rejecting every promotion, Madd doesn't want to distance himself from the people of Rynmere, gladly offering his knowledge to his superior as he is quite respected within the Iron Hand. Friendly yet slightly aloof, Madd is often believed to be goodness itself.

Other Information: Kryll is the one who patches up an unfortunate Skyrider every time a Volareon takes a chunk out of one. Anyone who's got a big bad wound in the military has probably been under the knife of this tall and imposing elderly Mer of the Erebis breed. He is passionate, focused, and absorbed in his work. His most admirable trait is that the man radiates an intense calm and only speaks in a manner of give-and-take, questions and answers summarizing his existence. Despite his choice in occupation, he does not enjoy saving lives. Instead, the intricate art of diagnosing, planning, and commencing a surgery has consumed him. Kryll cares very little for staff or patients at the Infirmary because he keeps his heart locked away for fear of forming a close bond with someone.

Venora and Rynmere
Within Kingdom affairs, the Venora tend to maintain positive relations with other Duchies and Great Houses. It is said that more than half of the food in the Kingdom is drawn from Venora's fields, and so positive relations with the house can be seen as quite the necessity, especially in times of war, strife and famine. To begin with individual houses, it is said that for a long time since the formation of the Houses, there has been tensions with House Krom. It makes sense that such a practical and artistically deprived house would find themselves in tense relations with a family that values beauty and grace above all other things - and as a result, the Lords of the two Houses have been exceptionally distant since the time of the first Kings.

Most houses are neutral to Venora, or merely cordial. While many nobles from Warrick to Andaris adore the Duchy's wines, songs, painters and parties, the common men of Rynmere often find Venorans to be prissy and posh. Their reputation is thus as a Duchy of overly-sensitive artistic types with little grasp on the hardships of the world, especially as starvation is something you will rarely find in a land filled with lush and ripe fields.

Burhan and Venora have been historically cordial, if not quite friendly. It would make sense that the lavish party throwers would always have room at their tables for the Kingdom's most skilled musicians and artists, that both families would enjoy one another's refined stories, and often is a happy couple made from a Burhan and Venora betrothal. They have maintained positive trade relations for as long as many can remember, and often Burhan merchants are involved in the sale of tens of thousands of bushels of Venoran crops.

Venora and Andaris have always been greatly close, as well - they have a long history of alliance. The House of Andaris has power in the Capital that Venora has always sought after, as the family has had a long standing aspiration of royalty, even if merely as the spouse of a reigning Andaris King. Furthermore, Andaris has possessed many great generals now and in the past, fit well to lead the always swelling manpower of the fertile region of Venora. The two of them have had a military, social, political and trade alliance for as long as any living man can recall, and while bumps in their relations do sometimes occur, friendship between the two remains both important and necessary.

Yoreth was known amongst young U’frek Sailors as a fearsome warrior and responsible for the mentoring of young noblemen and women in particular as they joined the ranks. He carried the ignoble moniker of the ‘Hangman’ following stories that he’d left pirates hanging from the bows of his ship. What most don’t know, is that Yoreth abused his position of trust, and the favour gained from the young nobles in order smuggle illicit goods from port to port, mainland to Rynmere. In 710, he met a young skyrider in the training grounds. A determined young woman who caught his attention, despite her junior years. He ignored his own rules in order to claim the object of his desire and began a passionate affair with the noble, Elyna Burhan in the knowledge that her older brother had risen through the ranks and was now his Captain. A captain who knew he was promised in marriage to the daughter of an Andaris merchant. Yoreth married Ameila Miller as had been arranged some arcs before and had a son with his wife. However, he strived to keep his lives, professional, domestic and fantasy separate. Unwilling to give up his attachment to the noblewoman.

However, in 713 Elyna’s brother discovered them and the truth couldn’t be hidden away any longer. Elyna told him to go to sea and never come back, and during the voyage her brother passed him a substantial amount of gold with the agreement he would not return to Andaris. Elyna was passed news of his demise at sea and the history books were written. Yoreth sent for Amelia and their son to join him in Ne’Hear, but his wife refused. He has spent his time in the western city wisely and invested in his smuggling empire. But not without a bitterness that has been devouring him. In early 716 Frustrated by Amelia’s refusal to follow him, Yoreth returned to Andaris to collect his wife. Only to find that the Moseke knights had inexplicably decided to dig up the past.
