41st Vhalar
She had arranged, on this particular trial, to meet up with her tutor Padraig. She did that because she had mentioned that she was going to collect some herbs on this trial and he had expressed that he wanted to collect some things for tinctures and other chemical pieces, so they had agreed to go together. There was strength and safety in numbers, after all. Faith wore her Marilyn skirt and blouse, both of which she knew were entirely inappropriate for going collecting herbs, but that was what Tristan had instructed her he wanted her to do this season, so she did it. She had a bag slung over her shoulder and was wearing some high heel shoes. Thankfully, she had a pair of sensible shoes in her bag, but she was not to put them on until they were out of the city itself. Of course, the collar and chain was there, an ever present reminder of her status, even if the blouse covered her brands.
She was sat, on the wall where they had agreed to meet a quarter break before the time they were due to get there. She sat, quiet and still and she was reading a book which was perched on her lap. They had agreed to meet early in the morning so that they had time to get where they needed to and back whilst it was still light and Faith was pleased at the thought of getting out of the city. She had heard of the bandit activity and all that was going on outside the city limits and so she had her long knife hidden in the bag. Her attention was taken almost entirely by the contents of the book and she was frowning in concentration. Every few moments, though, she looked up and on one of those times she spotted Padraig and jumped down from the wall. She walked up to him with a smile and, inevitably, dropped a curtsy "Good trial." she said, storing her book in her bag. "I brought a book which might help with identification and it seems at least that we have hit a break in the rain" the rain had been relentless and the on again- off again nature of it the last few trials was at least a bit of a relief, albeit not much of one. "Shall we?" she asked, pulling her cloak around her shoulders a little more as they prepared to leave the city and head out into the areas outside.
