Lady Ilaren has decreed that slavery be outlawed for all Rharnean citizens, and all of Rharne is now a slave-free city. Those owning slaves will be given a cycle to come up with the requisite funds for a fair compensation of their servants, after which they will be relinquished to pursue a new life of freedom.
No Rharnean citizen may own a slave henceforth.
Any who abuse a slave, whether they be former or foreign, will be prosecuted to the full extent of Rharnean Law.
Visitors are allowed to bring slaves into the city under the threat of losing them. Those slaves are subject to the same laws and protections as any free citizen of Rharne. Should said foreign slaves pursue freedom from any Rharnean Official, he or she will be given freedom on the spot.
Slave owners are not allowed to settle in Rharne, unless they agree to free their slaves with the requisite reparations and free offer of setting them up in their new life of freedom.
Furthermore, there's been rumors of Rharnean citizens targetting red-haired individuals on the fears that they are aukari. Let it be known, that any individual who is found guilty of assaulting any such individual will be charged with a hate crime, and be subject to double the criminal penalty for whatever crime they committed against these people.
