Dot is the daughter of a Sev'ryn mother from Desnind and a human father from Scalvoris. Her father was a researcher for the University, studying plants in the forests of Desnind when he was injured in a boar attack. He was healed up by the woman who would go on to be his wife, a practitioner of traditional Desnind healing methods. After he was healed up, they moved back to Scalvoris and had a single child together.
Dot was taught much of both of her parents disciplines, and the girl developed an insatiable appetite for learning all she could about plants and their effects on the world. She joined the university at a young age and excelled there. She joined others on many research expeditions around the world, believing wholeheartedly in the holistic aspects of plants in nature. Dot is currently leading her first research expedition, and is in Rharne with other members of her team to research the unique flora found there, and to share her findings with the university and the world.
Dot is quite social, enjoying a good joke and laugh with others. She's a strict vegetarian, enjoys drinking, and going out with friends to the many taverns of Rharne. Her days are always spent researching, her nights having fun.
