The Webspinners
The servants of the Immortal Sintra, the Webspinners are a secretive cult with members in deep cover all over Idalos. However, it's not a cult that one can join or be invited to, except on very rare occasions, and even these rare occasions intend to involve older children being taken by Labrae or a Webspinner. Each and every Webspinner is one of the children kidnapped by Sintra's daughter, Labrae, who are then raised to believe that Sintra is the supreme being, whose power has been usurped by the Immortals. Existing solely to restore Sintra to the power they believe to be rightfully hers, the Webspinners activities are varied and how exactly they help Sintra is not always exactly clear. It's not uncommon of for a Webspinner to be rooted to a single city for their entire lives, never doing anything that brings harm to the city they're stationed in, instead making it more prosperous or contributing to its defense.
However, the plans of Sintra and her Webspinners are long and varied, and that which does not seem to benefit their agenda, may in reality pay great dividends to them, and if it be two arcs, twenty arcs, or two hundred arcs, the Webspinners are patient as their Immortal Patron. However, not all Webspinners are used for deeply laid plots, as not all are suited to such things. Webspinners have led rebellions, become thieves, pirates, brigands, assassins, and mercenaries, or committed heinous crimes such as murder, treason, and human or drug trafficking, all with as much or more frequency as they've become respected leaders, public heroes, or legendary warriors. Each Webspinner bears at least the basic level of Lethroda, Sintra's Blessing.
