A Castle Fit for a Queen

As Velaine stepped through the portal leaving that room that belonged to the Seekers, she'd find herself transported to a new room, made of the same exact stone, with ancient runes carved into the walls. But upon her arrival, the tired spark upon her soul was recognized by the building she was in. And so, in a deep, rumbling voice around her, the structure spoke.

"Welcome Velaine, the third of your kind. You have proven yourself worthy by one of the great Eternals. You have been entrusted with this place as a gift for your service. It was first given to those who came first, that some call The Shay. It was later claimed and subsequently lost by those called the Seekers. It is now yours, and yours alone. Within this place, you will find that the world outside knows not of your presence here. None may enter here, none may spy into here, and none may be heard in here. Those who have toyed with your life know not of this place."

And so, the structure, which was merely a room, revealed itself to Velaine. Velaine would find that while the room was bare, it had the capacity to grow. She would know that it was deep underground in Yaralon. And she could make it grow with her own will. She could shape this structure into that which she desired. And should she wish to leave, the door would present itself to her, returning her to Yaralon.

This is Velaine's exit from the Call Event. She has successfully completed this event.

Velaine, you may self moderate the creation of this dungeon/building/structure. When you've finished, I will review this thread for you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. You've been great! I look forward to seeing what you do with this.

Re: A Castle Fit for a Queen

The young woman thought that the portal would bring her back to the bar, but she was wrong. Velaine emerged into a room, an unfamiliar one with stone walls and stone floors. It was also empty with no visible exit. Before she could begin her confusion, a voice spoke from all around her, rumbling through the floors. It welcomed her, told her that this space was hers and hers alone.

That she could mold it into whatever she wanted.

Home. It was the first thing that came to her mind. Krome’s lush green forests, Ragaeire’s stone forts, the rushing rivers. Much to her surprise, the room did expand according to her will. The room she was in rose higher and higher, a tower that opened into the sky as the winds that surrounded her whipped happily at their freedom. The roaring of water soon came from somewhere inside the expanding building.

As she stepped onto the balcony and looked around, the young woman finally saw what she created. A castle, a refuge, a temple of white stone surrounded by water and nature. Vines slithered through the cracks in the stone as rushing waterfalls were woven through the stone structure. A thick forest surrounded her, exactly like her Ragaeire.

An underground world just for her. A new home.

Her heart was pounding was as she rushed down the spiraling staircase. The single room had grown into the size of a small fortress, but it was not the thing she was most excited about. Various furnitures had already filled the rooms she passed, a dining room, a small library – all reminscents of her home in Rynmere and Ne’haer. There would be other times to explore the entirety of the property.

As she ran through the front doors, past pillars with carved wolves perched atop them, the young woman ran to the forests. Her ether flared eagerly as she walked across the water without a second thought. Right into the same exact trees that grew all over Krome. It was only then that she let herself realize how much she missed her home. Yaralon was nothing like the world she knew and this place… It offered a bit of Rynmere back to her.

As her excitement died down, Velaine turned back to look at the structure she had created. There was no movement, no other sounds other than the gentle winds sending her clothes fluttering. Empty. Alone.

Perhaps one trial she would get used to it.
