Yeva is a ruddy-skinned woman with brown eyes, a collection of uncontrolled freckles. An easy-going personality, she wears earthy tones in her attire and keeps makeup to a minimum, preferring a more natural and easily maintained look. Always struggling with her rebellious hair, she tries not to spend more time than necessary worrying over her appearance but appreciates a fresh bath when time permits. Yeva is almost always seen wearing pants, blouses, and boots, most of which are much too large, hiding her womanly physique.

INFJ-A: The Advocate personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. Advocates have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact. They tend to see helping others as their purpose in life, but while people with this personality type can be found engaging rescue efforts and doing charity work, their real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need not be rescued at all.

Advocates indeed share a unique combination of traits: though soft-spoken, they have very strong opinions and will fight tirelessly for an idea they believe in. They are decisive and strong-willed, but will rarely use that energy for personal gain – Advocates will act with creativity, imagination, conviction and sensitivity not to create advantage, but to create balance. Advocates find it easy to make connections with others, and have a talent for warm, sensitive language, speaking in human terms, rather than with pure logic and fact. It makes sense that their friends and colleagues will come to think of them as quiet extroverted personality types, but they would all do well to remember that Advocates need time alone to decompress and recharge, and to not become too alarmed when they suddenly withdraw. Advocates take great care of other’s feelings, and they expect the favor to be returned – sometimes that means giving them the space they need for a few days.

When it comes to romantic relationships, Advocates take the process of finding a partner seriously. Not ones for casual encounters, people with the Advocate personality type instead look for depth and meaning in their relationships. Advocates will take the time necessary to find someone they truly connect with – once they’ve found that someone, their relationships will reach a level of depth and sincerity that most people can only dream of. Getting to that point can sometimes be a challenge for potential partners, especially if they are the impatient type, as Advocates are often perfectionist and picky. People with this personality type aren’t easily talked into something they don’t want, and if someone doesn’t pick up on that, it’s a trespass that is unlikely to be forgiven, particularly in the early stages of dating. Even worse is if a suitor tries to resort to manipulation or lying, as Advocates will see right through it, and if there’s anything they have a poor tolerance for in a relationship, it is in-authenticity.

Early Childhood & Adolescence

Yeva was born and raised on a little orchard on the outskirts or Rharne, later moving into the city with her parents and two brothers to seek better educational opportunities. Grown accustomed to the quiet life and independence of rural living, it was a difficult adjustment for the red headed girl who did not want to drink, and preferred solitude to the rambunctious parties. Still, she favored the city's diversity and found herself drawn to activities she had never been able to experience before. When she was six arcs old, she became literate from the help of a travelling Eidisi, the same woman who taught her that there were numerous secrets and stories to uncover under the lock of foreign language. This interested her, and would be instrumental in her later development. Other instructors followed - A Tunawa whom she named Twig, told her the local flora as they played and whispered secrets in great fields- Chamomile for slumber, fennel to ease the feeding pain of infants.

When she turned ten, her oldest brother, Issac, gifted her with a pet snake and taught her how to care for it. Her father read her riddles and carved her little toys, and her mother fostered her love for learning. It was a simple childhood, and when she grew old enough to experience her first blooding, Yeva decided quite suddenly what she wanted to do with her life - She would join the Order or Adunih and become a Gold Cloak.

This was...a problematic dream, as the Order had not yet officially created a station in the lightening city. Only a few healers resided within the walls, but with the aid of some family and friends, she was secured an apprenticeship at the age of fourteen. Many of the duties involved tending to the medicinal garden and gathering ingredients for poultices, leaving her with plenty of free time to read. Occasionally, Yeva would practice various utilitarian stitches or recite medical tomes that often left her dozing against her better judgement. It was during this period of study that she discovered a message scratched into the underside of a window sill at a well known tavern - a hidden message pointing to a note tucked into a wall. Sober, unlike her friends, she realized it was no language in Rharne, but a secret code. Ecstatic at the idea of something new and exciting happening in her life, she rushed home to show her parents, who were far from thrilled. They feared it was left there by one of the many budding criminal organizations in Rharne, and ripped up the parchment.

Devastated, Yeva stole the remains and ran off, crying as she clutched the shredded documents in her hand. Climbing down the Rharne cliffs, she tried to hide in one of the caverns her and her brothers always played in the warmer months but was startled to find a giant bird, bleeding with its wings wrapped around its body. Startled, she cried out and nearly tumbled off the cliffs when it opened its wings. It was not a bird, but an Avriel boy, beaten and left to die. He clawed weakly at her, but was in terrible condition. Yeva, once composed, dropped her paper scraps and rushed to give him aid.

He cursed her, but she persisted, cleaning his wounds and tending to the patches of skin where his feathers had been ripped away. Now capable of stopping the bleeding and applying a salve that would stave off infection, the Avriel revealed his name while she worked selflessly - Azreal. Yeva thought this name beautiful and said so, shocking the young avian to angry tears. Yeva soothed him until he fell asleep and a season later while harvesting flowers, a handsome youth with grand wings swooped from the sky and held out a piece of paper that had been painstakingly glued together. He offered it to her as thanks, followed by a puzzle box with Arathnaka Runes etched into its surface and the two chatted and later became friends. He taught her how to solve the puzzle and read the symbols, as well as the written language of his own people - knowledge rarely offered to foreigners.

Visiting her often, Azreal and Yeva became close friends over the arcs until he casually mentioned the discovery of jungle ruins near his home city of Athart. Like a woman possessed, she begged him to take her there but he vehemently refused time and time again. Eventually, and with a lot of harassment, Yeva wore down his resolve and the two crafted a plan: She would moonlight as his slave when they arrived in the city and he would keep her safe, hoping the risk of discovery was worth the promise of adventure.

Adulthood

In Cylus 719, Yeva joined the Order of Adunih, and promptly shipped off to Athart to pursue her second dream, one of danger and forgotten secrets. Shortly after arrival, a strange plague rolls into Athart, causing feather loss and social unease. Azrael disappeared, sent away on a mission by city officials but when the two are eventually reunited, the Avriel vowed to take Yeva as far away from the madness as possible. Deciding on Scalvoris, a place where Yeva's thirst for knowledge can be satiated, they rent passage on the 110 of Vhalar 719, arriving in Scalvoris on the 1st of Cylus 720.

In Scalvoris, Yeva flourished. She was exposed to many different types of people and opportunities, joining the University, where she received her Letter in Medicine. She studied flora in Sweetvine Woods, won the Scalv-hunt and became the owner of a sprawling estate, signed up as a member of the Intelligentsia, and participated in perhaps her most noteworthy adventure to date - the Saving of Faldrass. Sadly, this was not without sacrifice.

Yeva's brush with death has made her homesick, and now aware of the warring state of Storm's Edge, will be returning home to check in on her family and protect the land she hails from. She makes quick haste once at Rharne and on the 81st of Ymiden 720, heads to the Stormwastes with the Ithecal, Varlum, to scout the land and see what they can uncover. In their exploration, they are ambushed by Flameborn and while back up soon arrives, Yeva perishes instantly in a fiery death.

Proclaimed dead, she proceeds with judgement, where she denies Vri and choses her fate as a ghost. She roams the Beneath, struggling to understand her new existence, but, in a turn of events largely spearheaded by Vega's inquiry, becomes resurrected by the Immortal Ziell, who prophesied that she was never meant to die.

While Yeva does not disregard the existence of Immortals, she is not beholden to their religious domains. This human desires a more inclusive approach, preferring animism, over the worship of any one deity or pantheon. If asked about her beliefs, she will not shy away from sharing her opinion - the belief that everything on Idalos possesses, at one point or another, a life force. She views the Immortals
Religion
as experimental guardians more than complete masters.

  • Yeva has her first known encounter with a spirit, an Anak of Truth, on 35 Ashan 720. Here she learns about their concepts, and the power hierarchy of the spirit world. She later meets a Spirit of Falsehood, who disguises her as a Spirit of Healing, allowing Yeva and her companions to moonlight at a Spirit gathering. From these encounters, Yeva has gained:
    Truth's Trust - A Gift from Truth
    The Spirit of Truth believes in you. All illusions that Yeva sees are surrounded by a thin layer of silvery mist, revealing the illusion for what it is. Should Yeva ever be trapped in some form of illusion Truth will create a way out of it, and his silver mist will guide Yeva on the path to this exit.

    Mantle of the Spirit (Healing) - A Gift from Falsehood
    You gain the ability to assume an illusionary spirit form for 2 hours, twice a season that resembles a forest nymph with hair of autumn leaves and a body like that of sculpted wood. Adorned in flora, a smell of pine with follow her. While this does not actually make Yeva a spirit or give her spiritual abilities, it is likely that those they meet while in this form will assume that Yeva is a spirit until given a reason to think otherwise.
  • Yeva knowingly meets Cassion (Travel, Adventure, Stories, Hunger) during the Forged in Fire event in Scalvoris. He materializes after a fellow teammate, Oram Mednix, prays and tells a story about his childhood. Cassion unabashedly tries to flirt with her. Yeva later accepts the blessing of Sojourn.
  • In a group of fellow adventurers, Yeva assists in the freeing of Faldrass, one of the great Induks of Idalos. She becomes Fire-Forged and will be recognized by Induks as touched by one of their own.
  • Daia was pleased to see how Yeva was working with the group during the War of Slags Deep. That sort of companionship impresses her. She have 1 favor from her, should she call on her.

  • Yeva formally meets Cassion while on her first grand adventure - the freeing of Faldrass, a great Induk of Idalos. Shortly after their survival, Cassion pays the brave, compassionate, and determined Yeva of Rharne a visit to offer his blessing. She accepts.

Passage to Immortal's Tongue & Deference | 9 Ymiden 720
  • After Cassion's intervention at the eruption of Faldrass, Yeva travels to his shrine on Immortal's Tongue where she shares stories and cinnamon rolls. She prays to Old Dust and does a bit of restorative work to honor the Immortal and thank him for saving her life.

As It Is Written | 65 Zi'da 720
  • Originally intended as a small camping trip with a friend to pay homage to Ziell, Yeva finds herself drawn to Old Dust's shrine, where she meets a mysterious traveler. He shares his knowledge of Cassion's champion and the great eagles, and in exchange, Yeva shares a story of her own. Unfortunately, the meal is cut short as revelers of Syroa swarm the campsite with the intention to hurt the women. An giant eagle grabs them in its talons and carries them to safety.

Abilities

Ready for Adventure
Sojourners are vibrant people flowing with life and tend to be thrill seekers and adventurers. Each is gifted with enormous appetites and the ability to subsist on substandard food. So long as it is edible, they can thrive upon it. Each one heals half again as fast as another member of their race and can often push the limits of the endurance that a member of their species might have (previously Blood Son).

Journey's Meal
This ability can only be used once a trial but allows the Sojourner to prepare a hearty and filling meal for themselves and up to three companions, no matter how little there was to prepare in the first place. In order to work, the Sojourner must do their best to make the meal as appetizing and filling as they have the material to provide, it must be prepared with edible ingredients only, and the Sojourner must tell a tale while preparing the meal itself.

Skills of the Road
The character is granted an extra three skill points which may be spent only on the following skills: Discipline, Fieldcraft, Seafaring, Storytelling, Cooking, or Navigation. Any skill points granted by this Mark can break the 250 (or 100 if fast track) point cap on skills. Within these skills, the points may be spent how the pc chooses.

Cassion's Compass
The character is granted a map which always remains centered on them. It shows a basic, but accurate, map of the surrounding area (up to 3 miles) - even if the area in question is unseen or unknown to the Sojourner. The Sojourner can see the map on any flat (ish) surface. In order to be seen by others, the Sojourner may summon the map to any piece of paper which the character has with them Approved here (previously Cassion's Golden Compass).

Journeyman
Cassion’s chosen often have a much easier journey than those who do not bear his mark. Inclement weather, obstacles and other dangers tend to be much less disastrous to the marked and travel time is reduced by 25%of what would be the usual time for that journey by that means / mount. Note that this only works against natural obstacles etc. Awarded here (previously Road-Kissed).

  • Yeva stands before the mighty Faldrass and swears her vow of protection to the region.

Abilities

Blazing Heart: The inner fire of Faldrass dwells within the heart of each and every Fireforged. It regulates their body temperature, keeping them comfortably warm even when in the freezing caves of Ishallr or the blazing heat of Faldrass volcano. The extremes of heat and cold will no longer have any effect upon the Fireforged. This does not protect them from damage inflicted by fire, ice or lava. It only makes them unaffected by the ambient temperature of whatever location they are in. (0pts)

Reforged: Fireforged are not named as they are for no reason. By accepting Faldrass' deal, their body is filled with his power and tempered by it, making it tougher than it was before. A Fireforged will find that their skin is like a leather armor and their bones like iron rods, making them more resistant to blunt physical damage. (0pts)

Abilities

Willows' Sanctuary
Through divine will, the user is able to draw toxins out of the body by pulling them through the skin. When this ability is in use, the mark of Sevrath shimmers green/yellow and releases tendrils of branches, transparent and completely made of energy, that will cover the user's body or the body of the individual. These branches will connect with the flesh and begin to draw the toxins from the body while forcing divine energy back into the body to heal any damage. The toxins gather in front of the mark where they may either be collected or burned up by the divine energy. Concentration is imperative while this ability is in use and must be completed once started. Should the character be interrupted during this ability, they risk allowing toxins into parts of the body that could be fatal to their life or the life of the person they are trying to save. Using this ability more than two times in a day will cause great exhaustion on the user.

Sevrath's Skills
The character is granted an extra three skill points which may be spent only on the following skills: Meditation, Medicine, Singing, or Musical Instrument. Moseke's Light (Minor)
Similar to Sevrath's Will, the user is capable of focusing divine energy into a minor injury (abrasion, small cut/puncture, etc.) and coax the cells into healing. This ability requires multiple events to "convince" the cells to heal, and even then they may not heal. This ability does not weaken the character as another, more powerful healing ability would, however, the character is unable to heal major injuries. When this ability is in use, a pale green/yellow light emits from the character's skin like a mist and is focused towards the palms and fingers where it is released upon contact of another individual's flesh. Multiple uses of this ability for long periods of time will cause headache and fatigue.

Sevrath's Will (Minor)
With a large amount of concentration, the user is capable of focusing energy into a small plant or sapling of their choosing to coax it into a form (An inanimate object, a room, etc). Using this ability will require multiple events to "convince" the plant to retain the shape that is willed unto it. The character will usually have to sing or play music for the plant in question to calm its wild ways. At this stage, the formations created by this ability are often small and easily destroyed. Sru'Alubosa (Minor)
Standing for 'nature form,' the user is capable of turning small portions of their body into stone or wood. They must be in direct contact with sturdy, natural object containing stone or wood. Other natural objects such as earth and sand are not encouraged, as a low level user is unable to maintain the form of the body part. Potential loss of the body part is high if the user is not familiar with that natural component. Earned here

Thread of Shared Consciousness

An unassuming but never-ending spool of thread, this little item is uniquely durable and has the ability to change color. When threaded through the eye of a needle, the seamstress or tailor is overcome with a contemplative nostalgia, and will desire to reminisce or meditate on memories and learned knowledge. With every stitch, a replica of these ideas are sewn into the object and can create entire tapestries of experience. When the stitches are touched by someone, they will either be able to see the memory as a vision or recall the experience as strongly as the seamstress/tailor imparted into the object. These things can be resisted easily if so desired by those who touch it. The thread can also be used to suture a wound with mixed results. The sutured injury will immediately begin to heal no matter the severity of the wound, but as the thread is absorbed into the skin, the memory/experience/knowledge fades from sewer's mind and is transferred to the injured, as if it always belonged to them. If that same memory had been replicated in an object previously, any memory of doing so will also vanish, making the recovery of it neigh impossible without otherworldly intervention or aid from another.

However, in the stitching process, the injured may also choose to resist the affects of their mind as well. If this is done, it is the sewer that makes the sacrifice to cure the afflicted. The sewer, Yeva, would then lose her memory of that NPC/PC for a period of time, and her past memories of them would take time to recover, - the same duration of time whatever the original wound would have required to close without magic. It can take trials to entire seasons, depending on the severity, to be decided on a case by case basis. Approval here.
Necklace of Starlight
Gift from Baron von Smooglenuff

A necklace with a glass star. That star will function only when the stars are visible in the sky at night. When Yeva activates it (once per season) it is as if they speak to her, giving intangible hints as to where things are, the best way to go to reach them, and what hazards may lie in whichever path she takes. The glares of starlight seem to take on brief shapes that warn and direct. She is the only one who sees it. Received here.
Housing



Yeva left her family home in Rharne and until recently lived in a small carved out cave in Athart with her close friend, Azrael. While she pretended to be his property in the company of others, he has made sure to keep a collection of her belongings in a locked chest. These possessions were transported with them to Scalvoris, where they enjoy an average lifestyle. Currently, Yeva is in search of a permanent residence.

On 90 Ashan 720, Yeva was a winner of the 1st Scalv-enger Hunt, where she was awarded a Tier 10 property in Scalvoris Town. After the events of Fire Forged on the 120 Ashan 720, Yeva's house has become a home to numerous refugees in need of shelter and medical attention. Supplies are ferried from the Beacon to feed and care for those and need, and the operation is run thanks to her efforts and those of ChiChi, a previous servant of Baron Smooglenuff, who is now fiercely loyal to the young medic.
