Gostav Fowler
Name: Gostov Fowler
Race: Human
Birthday/Age: 78th of Zi'da 695
Languages Spoken: Common (Fluent)
Skills:
Appearance/Biometrics: A very plain man. An unremarkable and forgettable face, brown eyes, brown hair. Standing short at around 5'4" with an average build. Gostav is rather unremarkable in almost every way. His clothing tends to be practical, but Kalortah has been known to practice his cosmetology skills on Gostav, to see if he can improve on his profound plain-ness.
Personality: Gostav possesses a rather dull personality, which suits the ostentatious and flamboyant nature of his new employer just fine as the servant will never outshine the master. Nevertheless, his dullness in the personality department in no way signals a lack of intelligence or capability. He's very task-focused and a nose-to-the-grindstone type of individual, with his main concern at any given moment the accomplishment of his goals and directives.
Backstory: Gostav was originally from Ne'haer, but moved to Rharne when the Famine hit that city in around arc 720. He's an experienced household servant, and quite capable and trained to accomplish a number of household tasks including but not limited to small construction projects, small-scale gardening, housekeeping, and cooking simple meals.

Appearance/Biometrics: He's about 6' tall, with broad shoulders and bulky build that strikes an imposing figure to any who would think to brawl with him. His hair is close-cropped, coal-black. He has a square jaw, with a crooked nose that speaks to surviving his share of brawls. He often wears practical clothing and armor consisting of padded leathers, brigandine, and ringmail, and a couple of ranged weapons. He likes presenting himself as armed to the teeth, with his ranged weapons and several daggers/blades in his belt.
Personality: Not one for engaging in nonsense, Kairo is all about business, the business of capturing and breaking slaves. In spite of his imposing appearance, he's fairly genial. He will not, however, hesitate to shoot at someone he suspects of disrupting his business.
Backstory: Raised into a Slave Raider family in Athart, his family has been in the city for generations. Perhaps even since Athart has belonged to the Avriel. He became a mercenary during the Nashaki and Athart 'alliance' against the Eternal Empire, during their conflict, and enlisted into a group of sellswords running between the Crescent Harbor and Nashaki, and down toward the more Fertile areas bordering Athart territory. He distinguished himself well enough to enrich his own pockets. When the conflict cooled down, he turned to simple mercenary work, bounty hunting and sometimes freelance murder.
Relationship to the PC: Main catspaw of Lem-Gar-Uoril. He may work with Kalortah at times, and at other times try to murder him. Depends on how the story goes.
Lem-Gar-Uoril
Name: Lem-Gar-Uoril
Race: Qi'Ora
Birthday/Age: 34th of Saun, 607
Languages Spoken: Fluent: Umaya. Conversational: Vorkelian, Common. Basic: Lorien.
Skills:
Appearance/Biometrics: Lem-Gar-Uoril has dark green skin, veined with lighter red and green. His eyes are amber-colored. He often eschews opulent clothing in favor of something more akin to what a tribesman would wear, with a full head-wrapping and lengthy robe that covers up to his elbows. He wears no shoes, like most of his kind. He often bears the trappings of a tinker, and is rarely found without a crossbow of some description.
Personality: Cold and detached, he seeks treasures for the enrichment and edification of the Museum in Nashaki. At times, it seems he cares less for living things than merchandise and artifacts, and will think nothing of sacrificing a group of twenty workers in order to obtain one priceless heirloom or cultural relic. Still, he takes few unnecessary risks.
Backstory: Long-lived and world-wise, Lem-Gar-Uoril's birth or childhood aren't remembered by many, and he believes his long life gives him precedence over the less long-lived races. His past is largely shrouded until one peels back the layers of Nashaki records and half-rumors. Remarkably, he has few skeletons in his closet if one looks further, perhaps to the annoyance of his enemies. Either he has a good source of scrubbing records of misdeeds or he's truly a paragon of virtue.
He works now as a curator for the Museum of Nashaki, and has organized many a treasure hunt. He has terrible disagreements with the way the Museum runs things, allowing adventurers to abscond with artifacts in lieu of payment. He believes the cultural relics found out in the Hotlands ought to remain in Nashaki once they're brought before an appraiser. Nevertheless, he has gone along with the administration to a point. Yet many note that his branch of the Museum has recovered more artifacts at lower costs than the rest of the Museum. Whatever his methods are, he is tolerated for the credence he lends toward the effort of preserving Nashaki's cultural heritage.

Kalortah's Entourage
Lotema
Name: Lotema
Race: Avriel
Birthday/Age: 78th of Zi'da 695
Languages Spoken: Lorien (Fluent), Common (Broken)
Skills:
Appearance/Biometrics: Lotema has a pale complexion of turquoise skin. Her head feathers are a mix of mostly dark charcoal color, with some blue and green feathers interspersed throughout her mane. Her build is very thin and slight. Under most circumstances, she wears robes and clothing that help cover up her colors, whether hoods or expansive cloth valance to cover the brilliance of her green-blue wings.
Personality: Adventuresome and thrill-seeking. Lotema has taken on the career of a thief not out of necessity but for the thrill of absconding with the belongings of other beings. She almost can't resist snatching this or that trinket off of a passerby. Once she's set her mind to acquiring something, she goes for it. She's a borderline kleptomaniac.
Backstory: Having spent much of her early years after a childhood in foreign cities to purge her wildness, she has bounties in cities and towns on several continents, to varying amounts. There she spent more time hunting trinkets for fencing to local pawns or other less legal payers than she did hunting for food. Eventually, however, the constant thrill of stealing by night and engaging in con jobs during the day grew boring, and Lotema placed her sights on a juicier quarry. This was how she earned a string of bounties from towns along the way from Scalvoristown to Quacia.
In-Game History Thus Far:
Bird of Fortune Kalortah press gangs Lotema into his personal entourage. As his very own sidekick and acquirer of things (thief).
House Rules After Kalortah moves to the Empire, Lotema finds him and decides to tease him, trying to seduce him into her arms. He proves somewhat reluctant for now.
Together Yet Separate ~ Kalortah finally gives into Lotema, and has some fun with her in the bathhouse.
Bells to Tell the King the News ~ Lotema informs Kalortah that she's with child, and that it's his. Kalortah faints.

Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown, shifting in a spectrum from red to yellow and oranges.
Height: 5'0"
Build: Light
Brief Description: Born a slave, and brought up indoctrinated to complete servitude in Viden, Weep wasn't expecting very much out of life from the start. Trained as a slave with a primarily domestic purpose, she has tried to excel as best she can,in hopes of being placed with an affluent master. She presumes that a master's affluence will correspond to their gentleness. Whether this is true or not, she was raised to believe that regardless of what treatment she received at the hands of her masters, she ought to keep her service running, in case she was required.
Her personality leads her to daydream, perhaps a residual of her heritage as a biqaj, she finds her mind wandering to imagination quite often. Her master/slave-trader is about to leave the Empire, when Kalortah happens by his showcase of slaves, and purchases Weep for himself.

Appearance/Biometrics:
Skin: Pale
Hair: Black
Eyes: Gray
Height: 5'6"
Build: Light
Typical Attire: Ostentatious, lots of piercings, tattoos, and jewelry in both casual attire and battle regalia. Lots of plumage gathered from birds used as target practice.
Description: An exile from one of the Hotlands tribes, she wandered the wastes for a while, before being found half dead by an Imperial scouting party. There, she was nursed back to health by the squadron of scouts, and given food and water. She learned from them about the Empire to the north, and its peaceful and secure nature, as a country of hardy warriors and earnest folk who are supported in turn by their Immortal sovereign. In some measure, partly also the fact that the Immortal Sovereign was female, she was tempted to join the Imperials as a former exile, and become a citizen.
In fact, it wasn't much of a temptation at all, but more of a golden opportunity to eke out a greater existence within a civilized world. It didn't take long for her to be a citizen before she took it upon herself to join the Imperial Army. There, she rose through the ranks swiftly, capping at Corporal and enjoying that position for the fact that it afforded her no shortage of opportunities to prove her valor.
Stoic in command, yet with a taste for the finer things in life at leisure, she's often mocked for her individualist ways. Not to mention her fashion which is way over the top for Imperial standards. She's yet to join any clan, just content to be on her own and fight with her fellow soldiers.

Appearance/Biometrics:

Hair: Brown
Eyes: Green
Height: 6'1"
Build: Well-muscled
Typical Attire: Ostentatious. Off-duty prefers his dress uniform, along with his chains. On Duty simple light chain armor and valanced surcoat.
Description: From a long lineage of Imperial officers, and one of the more well-regarded clans, his life path was laid out before him, even prior to his ability to vocalize what he wanted to do with his life. Nevertheless, he rose to the occasion, buoyed by the encouragement and nurturing of the clan.
As close as an Imperial comes to a 'silver spoon' child, sometimes Gendrel needs to prove that he earned his position to his fellows, which has led to a swift rise through the enlisted ranks. It's thought not to be long before he earns his Corporal chains.
All of his struggle and the backing of his clan pride has instilled a sense of superiority into Gendrel, and he can be a bit dismissive of foreign joiners to the Imperial cause.

Description: A calming presence on a squad full of misfits, hotheads, and individualists. He is the more or less the glue of any squadron he forms a part of, acting as a conciliatory presence, trying to resolve fights with a strong glare and calm word.
He comes from Old Dynaash, an old Ithecal clan that while not particularly distinguished, is considered fairly honorable.

Typical Attire: Locket often wears furs and trophies of her kills in her casual attire, which carries over to her combat equipment. Although she often respects the Imperial color coding, by using black-dyed hides or furs to accompany her battle get-up.
Description: A former exile from Desnind, she was a prolific hunter and poacher, until one day she poached an animal that belonged to a high official. She was given the choice between exile and boarding a slave ship. Given the danger that the Badlands presented, even to a competent hunter, she chose slavery. She made her way through Idalos this way, and was lucky enough to find her boat bound for Imperial lands, where slaves were treated reasonably. There she toiled as a hunter, until her master saw her potential and decided to free her, on the condition that she join the Imperial Army. She was happy to do so, as a chance if nothing else to show off her archery on harder targets than rabbits and squirrels.
She's often seen as absentminded, and spends long spells of time in aloof silence apart from the squad. Her squadmates and fellow soldiers just presume she's speaking to her spirit familiar, whatever it is.

Description: The youngest of the squad, he nevertheless has taken to the others fairly quickly in spite of the language barrier. This is in large part due to the fact that he's one of the few members of their squad that can cook a decent stew and cut of meat.
Cheerful yet quiet, he is eager to learn from the others in the squad, as he anticipates being able to earn his chains, eventually.

Typical Attire: Casual attire consists of his former tribalwear, which he's yet to replace for more Imperial fashions. Leathers and linens that cover him from head to toe. Over this he wears scale armor during battle, enameled black of course. He also wears a traditional headdress of the Yarfuti, which features colorful feathers and beads hanging from the headwrap.
Description: Dour and ascerbic, he clashes often with the cheerful and quiet Hamza, as they come from different tribes. Nevertheless, the tension that fact causes hasn't yet boiled over into a full blown fight. But at times during training drills and sparring, things can go a little far, with Androst coming out on the winning end more often than not.
He has the coveted position of caring for the wellbeing and health of the animals and flying mounts in their squadron. This is his one distraction from the tribal conflict between himself and Hamza, and he more or less throws himself into it full time without socializing the others very much.
