Diet

As a middle-class resident of Melrath, Dai'inla's diet is basic but not poor. It's much different than how she ate in Desnind, but though Raelia may have a wider diversity of foods, her wealth makes it difficult to truly enjoy it all. She can't enjoy the pleasures of imported foods as well, as they simply cost too much.

Most of what Dai'inla eats consists of fish and shellfish. Her favorites include clams, herring and perch. She'll also eat locally hunted game, whether bartered off a fellow or hunted herself. Her hunting skill only makes her able to catch small, easy prey such as rabbits or squirrels. With her wealth tier, she has easy access to breads and other simple baked goods, honey, eggs, cheese, butter, fruit and vegetables.

With her low cooking skill most recipes she has for these foods are limited and simple. She has no baking skill as well, so she has to buy all her breads. Most of what she can make includes stews, sandwiches, and simply cooked meats with sides. Eggs are the most complex foods she can cook, with the ability to make scrambled, boiled and over-easy eggs.
