Joran's Plotnotes

Kind of a mess for the foreseeable future. I'll get around to cleaning this up once I have enough here to justify it.

Potential plot: Zipper obtained by trade a few seasons before Cylus, 719, Joran owes somebody a favor.
Potential plot: Maybe have Joran pick up dreamwalking someday? Would be interesting for him to experiment with and a good way to make Joran a little more capable of standing up for himself. Maybe he learns dreamwalking at the Medicine House? Could also earn a mark from Unity somehow. Will need to think on it.

To-do: Do wealth threads for Hot Cycle. Most likely Medicine House.
To-do: Convert skills and knowledges to something like Wald Lowca's.

Rebirth Cycle Outline - Tentative, subject to pruning with 2 weeks remaining in the cycle
  • 15-18 Ashan - Joran has to deal with the animal attacks that derive from the Bad Lands. Maybe it's a not-so-heroic moment for him, where he has to face his own cowardice? Idea: his zipper flies off and he has to walk back during this time.
  • 113-116 Ashan - Flooding. Joran's home is destroyed. Must either join the Order or find a new home.
General Outline - No rush, but need to get done.
  • Animal training threads - Work with Zipper on coming when called
  • Music thread - Maybe combine with solo on 2 Cylus?
  • Improve Common for (probable, eventual) travel purposes
  • Do more threads fleshing out Joran's frustration with being a Tunawa--not being taken seriously, everything being too big, etc.
  • Maybe explore Joran's relationship to faith?
To-do: Starter quest - Planning to start it off with Dula in conjunction with her own starter quest
Living as one of the Tall Folks is an expensive lifestyle, even for a Tunawa that doesn't require the same level of needs as the other races of Idalos. Till this point, Joran had been selling the raw leaves of the Nightflower, along with various other herbs and medicinal plants, to various merchants and shops within the city. But these transactions are small due to the work still required to process the various plants for medical usage.

To help assist this new lifestyle, it would be best for Joran to learn how to process these plants and sell them at a higher price. This will require more work on Joran's part but will end up with more gold in Joran's pocket. Joran will need to purchase the equipment for processing, along with researching the proper methods of handling each plant.
