Lithrae smiled as the blood seeped down the slaves body, mingling in the marks from her whip and Mara's flogger. Soon, she began deliberately targeting softer and softer points on the body, eventually splitting open his nipple. The scream from the cut was exquisite, but it was soon eclipsed by the scream of pure agony as his shoulder dislocated with a snap. A second snap and the man fainted in his bonds. Lithrae let out an ecstatic, excited laugh as Mara told her stop. "Jakinarazi nion ez zela jakintsu hori. Ez du pentsatzen denbora emanez." she said, stepping back to let Mara examine their plaything.
When Mara said what the risk was if they let the mans injuries proceed to their logical extreme, Lithrae paused to consider a moment. "Nahiz eta armak gabe, erabili beharko zuen. Hasiberrientzako entrenatzaile bakoitzak mina nola eragiten duen ikasi behar du, azken finean." she mused to herself as she considered Mara's question. After a moment she shook her head. "Besoetara itzuli. Nahi dugun bezala utz dezakegu, baina helburua espirituan hautsita dago, ez gorputzean." she said, stepping forward to help Mara with whatever she needed. "Gainera, hori oso laburra zen, ez al duzu uste? Ez genuen eskeñtza eske, eta horregatik entzun nahi dut." she purred, her voice laced with energy and emotion. As she looked over at the other Naer, Lithrae had to tramp down the urge to confess the feelings for Mara she had kept within since the other Naer left Augiery. She wanted to see if Mara still felt anything before she did something that could change their relationship so much.

"Jakinarazi nion ez zela jakintsu hori. Ez du pentsatzen denbora emanez." - "I warned him that fainting would not be wise. He'll regret giving us time to think."
"Nahiz eta armak gabe, erabili beharko zuen. Hasiberrientzako entrenatzaile bakoitzak mina nola eragiten duen ikasi behar du, azken finean." = "Even without arms, he'd have uses. Every novice trainer needs to learn how to cause pain, after all."
"Besoetara itzuli. Nahi dugun bezala utz dezakegu, baina helburua espirituan hautsita dago, ez gorputzean." = "Let's get his arms back in place. We may have leave to do as we wish, but the goal is for him be broken in spirit, not in body."
"Gainera, hori oso laburra zen, ez al duzu uste? Ez genuen eskeñtza eske, eta horregatik entzun nahi dut." = "Besides, that was too short, don't you think? We didn't even get to the begging, and I do so want to hear him beg."
Mara smirked over at Lithrae as she bemoaned the shortness of their play. "Guretzat laburra zen. Berarekin, gutxienez, bizitza izan zen," she murmured, stepping forward to the fainted slave. The delighted sound of Lithrae's laugh caused her cheeks to heat up, but she said nothing. She needed to make sure it was mutual - she could not ruin her only friendship in this city, not now that her sister had left.
Bending over, Mara removed the rope that connected his ankle to the ceiling, letting the foot drop to the ground. It was limp, the slave barely stirring with a moan. Quickly, she moved to the other leg, removing first the pulley line, and then the futomomo. She unwrapped the lines around his thighs quickly, but she could not resist the urge to quickly tighten the rope over the ankle, causing a heavy rope burn there on exposed skin. The slave awoke with a gasp.
"Ongi etorri," Mara murmured quietly as she lowered the second leg to the ground. Now the slave could hold his own weight - or he would have been able to if he had any strength left in his body. "Soka zure eskumuturrean kentzen dut. Zure sorbaldak berriro agertu behar ditugu. Baina mugimendu bat, ihes egiteko saiakera bat, eta Lithrae askatu egingo dizut. Ulertzen duzu?" The slave nodded fearfully. Slowly, Mara removed the larkshead from one wrist by simply opening the loop, and pulled the slave's arm down. He screamed as the joint ground on bone, unsupported by ligaments. Mara flashed a grin over to Lithrae before she did the same with the other. Again, another scream.
"Orain mantendu oraindik--" But it was too late. The slave had taken off running, his dislocated arms moving spastically beside him. Mara sighed, a bored sigh. "Lithrae, ergela berreskuratuko duzu?" Without looking, Mara went over to the cabinet and withdrew two things - a brand, and a skinning knife. Why were men so stupid?

Guretzat laburra zen. Berarekin, gutxienez, bizitza izan zen. = To us, it was short. To him, it was a lifetime at least.
Ongi etorri. = Welcome back.
Soka zure eskumuturrean kentzen dut. Zure sorbaldak berriro agertu behar ditugu. Baina mugimendu bat, ihes egiteko saiakera bat, eta Lithrae askatu egingo dizut. Ulertzen duzu? = I will remove the rope on your wrists. We need to pop your shoulders back in. But one move, one attempt to flee, and I will let Lithrae loose on you. Do you understand?
Lithrae, ergela berreskuratuko duzu? = Lithrae, will you please retrieve the imbecile?
Lithrae stepped back to watch Mara work in silence, not speaking up while the other Naer told the slave what would happen if he tried to run, merely smirking down at him. She enjoyed his suffering, an enjoyment that was only heightened by Mara's presence at her side. She stole a glance at the beauty beside her as she worked, but she didn't make any move to take things further. She didn't want to risk making things uncomfortable between them, not so soon after Mara had got back. Let their friendship at least last a little longer.
Of course, then the slave did the most idiotic possible thing and tried to run the moment his arms and legs were free. Lithrae joined in Mara's sigh and nodded at her request. "Nire atsegina." she purred, a cruel smile crossing her face. She stepped forward, slowly, but she brought her whip up as she walked, arcing out the lash again. This time, she aimed for his legs. The lash hit home and cost the slave his footing, and between his pain and his dislocated arms, all he could was struggle as Lithrae approached him, letting the sound of her boots hitting the stone floor build his dread.
When she reached him, she bent down and pulled him to his feet by his hair. "Portaera izan bazenuen, baliteke armak konpondu ondoren, barkatzea eskatzeko aukera eman zitzaigun." she purred in his ear, her voice a mixture of seduction and cruelty. "Orain itxaron beharko duzu egunerako gelditu arte." she said, laughing as she dragged him back to her friend, forcefully bending him backwards over Mara's table. "Oraindik besoak konpondu behar ditugu. Mantendu egingo dut lan egiten duzun bitartean. Ondoren ... zenbat entretenimendu apalek merezi du?" she said, her tone showing the pleasure she took in the man's suffering, though the look she gave Mara indicated that there was something else she was enjoying far more than the slaves suffering.

"Portaera izan bazenuen, baliteke armak konpondu ondoren, barkatzea eskatzeko aukera eman zitzaigun." = "If you had behaved, we might given you the opportunity to beg for the chance to be forgiven after your arms were fixed."
"Orain itxaron beharko duzu egunerako gelditu arte." = "Now you'll have to wait until we feel like stopping for the day."
"Oraindik besoak konpondu behar ditugu. Mantendu egingo dut lan egiten duzun bitartean. Ondoren ... zenbat entretenimendu apalek merezi du?" = "We still need to fix his arms though. I'll hold him while you work. After that...how many breaks of entertainment do you think he'll be worth?"
