Zemos awoke with a start, sleeping at the foot of Sybil's bed. His green eyes shone in the dim lighting of the room, making him recoil from the subtle glow. "Green! Green! Masters green!"
He shivered against the footboard of the bed, perhaps enough to wake Sybil. He shut his eyes against the green glow, but felt it reflected against his eyelids, and wasn't able to shake the feeling of unease. When had his eyes started glowing? When they had been duill all this time? He opened his eyes a squint, trying to find anything, something that was blue. He looked to the walls, and saw their icy frost, feeling them with his hands like a wretched pup scratching at the door of its master.
Then he looped around and went to Master's bed, and pushed them awake. "Master, so much is green! Green! Where is blue!"
Yet when Sybil didn't awake immediately, Zemos recoiled, and searched for something to light a torch. Anything to dispel this subtle glow. He found the flint and steel by a nearby dresser, and with it lit a nearby sconce. And just as the light came into being, bringing warmth and light into the room, he would no longer see that subtle green glow.
"Green is gone... Where, who is Zemos?" He looked around, feeling for the door, the walls, taking in all the feelings and sensations. Yet at the corner of his mind, the feeling of something crawling against the back of his soul. Something was missing, though he couldn't quite place what it was. "Master?"
