Another Day In Paradise [Peg]

Previously the stronghold of the Pirate Lords, Almund is a thriving township with a dark side. With houses made from the wooden bodies of decommissioned ships, there are many opportunities here, coupled with many dangers. Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap!

20th of Ymiden718

It was a grand day of cheeky hijinks and no good shenanigans? To Adam it was just another day of flaunting his impossibly good looks while throwing down the mighty fist of the law on ner do wells. Most of which the frumpy bunnies in need of attitude adjustments, just a little recalibration of there think tanks as hed twist up them tangles with a beam of his charming smile with an added dash of magic seasonings so they'd eat it up.

After all it was both a gift and a curse to be this hot to trot.

He was on a singular mission make Sephiras agenda shine in Almund. After allshe was hus boss thus it was his sworn civic duty to be a good boy.

Woot! woot? Inciting hate against the Elements in the streets ? Face down bottoms up, criminal scum! Stealing Shit? Face down, bottoms up filthy thief. Tge forces of Evil beware, for Adams thrust of justice was a spear of light that shined like a beacon of hope in the darkness. After hours not on shift of course less hed incite the wrath of boss mistress Sephira and suffer a demerit; no hed have his star mark on that parchment.

Supressing violence through mental and emotional pacification and the justice thrust; when needed of course!, its what he did. And Adam Michaels the boy wonder did it magnificently as he upheld his seduction based gold standard of excellence that would bring a tear to the flame elements eye. Maybe hed be in line for soldier of the month, or better yet that coveted promotion. It was most certainly without a doubt Adam serving up a heaping portion of justice on his daily grind quelling the tinders of hate before they ignited into flames..

But he did his duty dutifully with a smile on his way back to the elements post. He might have been a fox in a hen house buuut it seemed his employer gave him enough slack to be the mind melting heart throbe he was born to be but also stern enough to keep this dope in check he just had to remember his internal treatise on when and when not to perform his parlor tricks and hed be in the clear.

It seemed the island nation was a boon, booty as far as the eye could see, a position of authority and an all you can eat buffet at the oyster bar things were looking up for this lecherous wretch indeed.

He was... interesting to Her.

In one way, he was very interesting to Her. In another way, he was unpolished and she did so like things which were polished and shiny. Sophistication, subtlety and so on seemed to be largely lacking in him. Yet. He was interesting. He had skittered on Her notice more than once, but now there was an opportunity and, besides, whatever happened it would be fun

And She did love fun.

So, She gave a little nudge, whispered a suggestion and then? Well then She sat back and watched.

It had been a fairly normal trial for Adam thusfar, he'd had plenty to do, lots to keep him busy. Being an Element was a job of work and then some. There were always people needing help - sometimes, people spat at him because they remembered all too well what had occurred at the docks last season. There were a hundred reactions in between, too. But he kept the smile on his face and Adam did his job.

He was on his way back, ready to report in after another successful shift when he heard a noise as he was walking past an intersection in the street. The street which ran to his right was mostly deserted, but there was a man and a woman engaged in some kind of fight. He had hold of her bag and she was not letting go of it, so he'd pulled a knife and she was tugging at the bag, not letting it go. She was calling out, but either the people here didn't notice, didn't care or were all deaf.

There was no doubt that he could continue walking. He could ignoring.

Or, he could go and save the woman from the man attempting to mug her. She, too stubborn or too stupid to give it up, had both hands on her bag and was being dragged along by her attacker who was trying to pull her into an alleyway, off out of Adam's area of vision. It had to be said, she was putting up a good fight but what she gained in enthusiasm, she more than lost in being both physically weak and entirely ineffective at physical combat.

What would Adam do?

Adam Michaels had been alerted to danger by the woman's cries for help that had fallen on deaf or scared citizens who decided the best course of action was ignorance. They called the Elements scum, but he was a peace keeper.

It was a dangerous situation to be in for sure, as he noticed the man was trying to drag the woman who clutched her purse with vigor.

This lady displayed a testicular fortitude a true courage that made some of the manliest men seem cowardly in comparison. The woman fought with pure crazy but crazy was not enough, as she was dragged with her heels in the ground adamant of her stalwart composure to not relinquish the goods.

Adam immediately surmised this dire situation, no the woman was not stupid this was a designer bag for sure.

Why this whole thing was despicable preying on designer fashion. His ego would not tolerate or abide by such things such beautiful stitching and threads, something to be made to be coveted.

Even Adam with his grand mastery of seduction dared not tread in a woman's purse. This man meddled with forces not to be trifled with, this was a true fiend to violate the sanctity of feminine sanctuary.

And he knew that if he allowed the woman to be harmed on his shift Sephira would never give him a promotion. So hed act swiftly as the mighty fist of the law.

So Adam moved forward with haste, the thief hadn't tried to strike the girl with his brandished blade. And Adam wondered if his intentions with it were simply to scare the woman into releasing her fetching satchel.

No matter
As her descended upon the quarrel between the thief and damsel in distress, he wound up cocked his hand back and let it go as he punched with what he could muster as leaned into his shot. He hoped it would be enough, to catch him by surprise as he seemed distracted trying to drag her into the alley. Maybe if Adam was lucky it was enough to make him lose his grip on her possession.

He was prepared to stand his ground and square up if the situation had called for it.

"Stop! I'm an Element, Your under Arrest."

It wasn't a heck of a lot but he was on patrol in element gear and colors, maybe that might make him run rather then fight.

He jumped into the melee and the woman looked at him with wide, terrified eyes. Adam might notice that she was very beautiful, but obviously also very frightened. Her clothes were of a very good quality and she had well kept hair and well manicured hands. She said nothing as the brutish thug turned to Adam and snarled. "Come on, I'll share her with you," the woman started struggling more and one well constructed high heel stabbed down right into his foot.

The attacker's eyes widened in pain and he obviously recognised that these two between them were too much for him. He shoved the woman and he did so aiming her at Adam. She skidded and slipped, literally falling into his arms, where her beautifully soft hands clung on to his strong, manly arm. The brute, meanwhile, took the opportunity to run. Adam would need to deposit the woman out of his arms were he to give chase and she was currently very firmly in said arms, sobbing.

"Oh! Oh, you saved me!" Lifting her gaze to him, Adam could see that she had been - and still was - very, very scared. Her whole body trembled and she leaned against him with a pale face and then her hands moved over to his arm, "you aren't hurt are you? You were so brave." Wide eyes regarded him as her hands just checked that he was alright. She felt his armour and she sounded breathlessly impressed. "And you're an Element? I don't believe what they said about you. I'll tell everyone." Trembling like a fragile leaf in his arms, she was earnest and genuine in her praise.

"Would you walk me home, please?" She asked as she maintained her grip on his arm, obviously taking strength from his mere presence. "My husband won't be home for breaks, and I'm afraid to be alone."

If he did that, of course, he'd be late reporting in. But the beautiful woman was asking him very nicely.

Adam felt that rush of adrenaline surge through him as he stood toe to toe ready for a brawl to erupt. Like some battle of the bros over some maiden in the bar but it seemed as he spoke about sharing her with him. The culprit had all but took his eye off the prize when suddenly hed been struck in the foot by a stilleto of a less dubious nature.

Although he understood he had a choice to make as the young woman was shoved into him, he could tell she was scared and could see it in her eyes.

He could comfort her as she sobbed in his arms or give chase.

Both of which prioritized his function within the elements. He was an immortal given public relations gods-send. The way she held him and curled into him for comfort Adam thought hed be making the right move, afterall nothing held a captive audience like a beautiful woman. If she said good things about the elements well all those white knights would be quick to side with her opinion, if he left her maybe she might speak poorly of the elements how they abandoned her in her time of need and it would spur another riot.

The mugger was gone but that did not mean he was not lying in wait to capitalize on the defenseless woman if hed leave to go file his report, Adam wondered as she pulled strength from him if this was the heart that was lacking between the citizenry and the military.

The choice was obvious hed bring her home, a military escort to provide her with safety and security. That's what his ego told him, as he soaked in his moment of triumph and glory as the girl prattled on breathlessly impressed by his heroism.

"Shhhhhh" Adam cood
"Your safe now, and it would be my pleasure to take you home" Adam was soft spoken and gentle as he tried his best to calm her, and that everything was ok the danger was gone.

But something stirred within him as he felt the ache from the kick hed received in the elements office the bruise was fading. But his ego wanted more, a drive within him to be even bigger; larger then life. As he reverted to himself to do what he did naturally; seduce but in a way that was refined by discipline as he found his opening and thrusted for her heart.

"I'm ok, I don't know how it happened but I feel a little pain he must have got me when you kicked him" the bruise that was all but fading away was real, but where it came from was not. As he rubbed his chest a little while she clung to him.

Adam spoke with a reassuring smile.

Deliberate in intent as hed walk with her while the thought loomed in the back of his mind of her saying that her husband wouldn't be home for hours?

He made his decision, hed be late to escort the girl home.

As the fighting had been happening, Adam had noticed that the woman was beautiful. Now, as she stood pressed against him and trembling in his arms, he realised that his earlier assessment had been wrong. She was way beyond beautiful. Flawless skin, bright blue eyes and a well kept silken mane of jet black hair fell in waves down her back. Her cheek bones, facial structure, all of her was very - very - well put together. She looked after herself, too - her make up had been carefully applied, her hands were well kept and the body which trembled against him was lithe and fit.

"Oh, thank you!" She breathed, relieved in the extreme that he was willing to walk her home. Clinging onto his arm, she walked with him - her perfume was subtle, but there. Holding on to him as they walked, she spoke only so much as to give him directions of where they were heading. However, when he said that he had a pain, she looked at him with remorseful eyes. "I'm so sorry you got hurt. Why do people behave like that?"

Almund was a strange place - largely, there were small houses, many of which were made from the hulls of boats long since decommissioned or never even used, however her house was a stone structure - through a metal gate and down a driveway for a carriage, albeit a short one. If Adam could judge such things, she was the top end of very wealthy. She wasn't yet in the "ludicrously rich" which so many aspired to, but she was well on her way. The house was large, the garden and grounds well kept and formal. "Come in, I'll see if we've got something I can put on your injury?" Wide blue eyes looked up at him and her hand on his arm tightened slightly. "If... if it isn't too much trouble? I'd like to make sure you're alright. You saved my life, after all." Smiling at him, gazed at him with what could only be described as an adoring expression. "It's the very least I could do?"

If he went in there, Adam would find himself in a house which showed that the woman he rescued was, in fact, right on the edge of "ludicrously wealthy" and in fact this might be the nicest house he'd ever seen. She was completely at home here and would ask him, her blue eyes on him as she spoke, if he would take off his shirt so she could see what the problem was. In case it was important to him, she reassured him that they were completely alone as her husband would not be home for breaks. "Maybe the whole night," she added. "He often ends up sleeping out. He's very busy, you see."

And she put her hand, then, on his chest - where he had not yet complied (or not) with her request to remove his shirt. "I get quite lonely, sometimes." She whispered, breathlessly.

What was Adam to do in the presence of such a breath taking beauty? She had it all flawless skin and bright blue eyes that he found himself lost in. The attention to every detail of herself had been enhanced by make up, manicures and sweet perfumes. She was indeed beyond beautiful, the woman in question was a dream truly a sublime slice of paradise.

"I think it's Jealousy, it must be tough to be a solitary rose in a garden of weeds." He said as they walked, and followed her directions.

She was wealthy and came from a background of money how much was beyond him, her property and fancy gardens made the man reminisce over aristocracy and ladies, dutchesses and baronesses of rynmere. Yet the scenery paled in comparison to the true prize around his arm.

When invitation came to address his alleged injury and pain, he nodded courteously. He knew what that meant, but he had courage to defy his post as his reward was to good to be true. He felt true weakness overcome him in that moment, as his mention of pain had given him entry into her abode. There was fear there that lurked within but excitement dwelled at the thought of scandelous adventures in waves of silken linens. He pushed it back persuading himself that it was of no consequence hed be fine his thoughts befuddled in a lecherous mire.

Adam who was made to feel like a rank amateur to this fairest of maidens was some how convinced that maybe it was he that was lost within temptation as the reality had slowly set in that he still had not yet reported in, but somehow such thoughts were lost within this mental fog as his ego demanded him to take advantage of this situation and it basked in nothing short of lavished adoration there was no need for emotional augmentation.

Adam soaked it in while her hand fell upon his chest. If allowed hed navigate her hand to the rhythmic pulse of his heart beat and explore the silken strands of black hair between his fingers with but a single stroke of his free hand.

The house was fancy with the frill of silver lining, but truly the only thing in the room that had captivated his undivided attention were saphire eyes that sparkled like crown jewels; there were no words but as they sang to him and bedazzled his soul. Adam felt helpless, but he simply let himself go perhaps like a drink too many in the deep end of the pool being gently dragged to the bottom while the distorted rays of the suns grew darker and darker until finally.

Adam would go In closer so she could feel the warmth of his breath and if allowed would touch his nose with hers, with a playful smile as he appreciate the fragrance of her perfume.

"I've seen it so many times, a woman like you shouldn't be obtained like a trophy.

Only to be discarded once won over, to live there happily ever after in loneliness on the mantle.

Just tell me you want me, and you will never be alone again."
Hed move back just enough, and play with his buttons popping them slow and methodical with discipline to build tension, building up before unveiling his upper half .

As his hand moved and her silken hair slid through his fingers, her eyes widened slightly and she breathed in, deeply then exhaled with a slight moan of pleasure at his touch. "I must look a state," she whispered to him and her crystal blue eyes watched him, intently. It seemed like he was the only thing she saw as she gazed upon him. When he moved her hand, her lips lifted in a smile of pleasure as she felt the beating of his heart under her touch; her fingers twitched as she touched him and she seemed unable to drop her gaze from his eyes. Her hand on his chest felt the beating of his heart and she was transfixed by his proximity, her breathing speeding up slightly as she quite obviously responded to his closeness.

His nose and hers touched and he spoke of what was and what should not be. "He used to want me," she whispered, softly spoken words but her voice trembled with emotion; fear and confusion and desire, all mixed up together. "But now, he has other tastes, other women." Her crystal blue eyes looked at him in surprise as he said that she just needed to tell her that she wanted him and she would never be lonely again. As he undid his buttons, she watched with a barely disguised hunger.

"Are you suggesting that we... what are you suggesting?" Her gaze was hopeful, filled with desire and her hand on his chest moved, stroking gently against his skin. "I'm married," she said, simple enough words. "To a very wealthy, very powerful man. He would kill anyone who stole anything from him." Her free hand moved to his hair, burying in there and her face was a mere hair's width from his. All it would take was the slightest movement from either one of them. "Even if that person was a hero who saved me."

She shifted, slightly, so that she was up close against him, their bodies touching as her hand moved on his chest.

"I don't want to be lonely any more," she whispered to him. "But my husband, he is a dangerous man. No man would find me worth the risk. Would they?"
